You understand that your friend caidychen will have to give up his/her rights to the image and stop hosting it on deviantART and that you'll have to remove the watermarks (draw another pose), right?

The rights asked for are not exclusive, so no, the artist would not be required to stop hosting anything or give up any rights. Except for the right to complain about anything we (or anyone else) decide to do with the images, that is.

ehm, maybe it's just me not browsing round here enough, but apart from this thread to where i got by some freekish accident with my bounty being claimed linked me here, i have yet to see any existence of EH Translations team on this site. From what i can see it's been almost 3 weeks since the announcement and i can't see any dedicated space to any Translations team anywhere. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Will there really be one? I would be very much interested in cooperating with some scanlation group in various ways - editing, commissioning... but all i can see on the site is this failed Contest.

edit: what I mean is, that it´s nicely drawn and colored, but the overall perspective flaw ruins the pose (hands too small, legs too long) and for my taste it´s too common.
But hey, try to make a logo out of it. It´s a contest afterall.

As the original post states, we've been fairly disorganized and anonymous up until now. When we start rolling out new releases though we'll have front page announcements for them but have been reluctant to start doing so before we get a bit of consistency into things. Among other things, a set of official release guidelines and this mascot thing. You can look in the galleries for a list of older releases. (A few loli ones got pruned during the lolicaust though. :/)

Vector images are nice to have, but by no means required. Most likely, we'll find someone who is good with vector magic to vectorize any rasterized winner, should we ever need it.
