Fuck me, but I got an idea now. I figure the "me drawing it with a mouse" criterion lines up with the "simplicity" criterion.

Just do your artwork by hand on a piece of good quality paper and then scan it to your computer. After that you can touch it up in Photoshop and add color, effects, whatever.

On a serious note, having to do the mascot in three different positions may discourage a good number of people from submitting anything as most of us are too lazy or busy. I might come up with something, but I'd be too lazy to make it in more than one pose. Sooooo... this effort may fail.

Dood, no PayPal or a scanner? Can't you borrow one from somebody? Or take it to Kinko's or an office supply place and they can scan it to a disc, but that'll cost money and it probably won't be worth it. And also, they'll see it. xD

Here's my pile of shit. This is basically a blueprint so I can deform it correctly into an SD type character.

What did you use to draw that?

Photoshop CS5 and a Wacom Bamboo 5x3 active area drawing tablet.
