I hope a few people are going to send out some PM's to those they know who have uploaded a lot of real porn asking them to remove it citing this new rule. Better yet if Tenboro can mass PM/E-mail all users, I don't know if this place has that capability built in. I know that expunging the old galleries doesn't harm the uploaders under this rule, but it would help the removal go a lot faster if they removed some of their own.

There's really no easy way to do this. And I think those that are in a position to read PMs would be aware of what's going on, anyway.

Incidentally, the RoE needs serious re-writing to reflect this update. You can remove the obscene, mixed, a lot of the misc classification info, and references to real porn in the GP payouts.

I'll thumb through it, but it doesn't hurt to have anti-obscenity rules in there, in the case of Cosplay/Asian Porn. Not that I'm planning on visiting the states [www.cracked.com] any time soon.

Tenboro, is there any way you could wipe the galleries of real porn? Murder everything with the brunette, blonde, and redhead tags. Giving us the full power expunge helps, but removing them all manually is still a massive undertaking.

Really? I searched for brunette, '-3d!' and it removed a single result. For blonde it removed 12 results. For redhead it removed 1. I haven't seen it once on a drawn gallery.

Except many people helped, or at least enough of them helped to make the vigilante thread work even before the toplist was added.

Could not vote for tag. Reason: You cannot possibly have taken the time to look at the gallery in that short time. You must wait 10 seconds between tagging different galleries.

IIRC, that was added because Sonic was automatically tagging galleries as Misc during the Great Misc Move of 2009.

If the 10 seconds between tags on new galleries was ever lifted, we might be able to get all of the western stuff moved to the right place.

Especially as it probably only made people using scripts add a command to wait 10-seconds between expunges, so the only people inconvenienced by it are those who expunge by hand.

The limit was probably more to keep individual people from inundating the servers with tag requests as even by hand I can tag in as short as 2-3 seconds between each tagging.

Honestly, if you're tagging AND expunging, the wait should be minimal between galleries, especially if you wait to see the update to the page by the server in both instances.

I mostly use it to reclass between categories lately, my pages load quite quickly, and determining if something is a doujin, a manga, or a real porn takes just a moment (especially if someone whom I trust based on long experience posted his opinion in Re-Up), so when I reclass a group of galleries, I have to wait about 5 seconds between each one of them. I'm not sure if it's minimal, but it's certainly annoying.
