QUOTE(Hairs' Fan @ Jul 16 2010, 19:17) That's the very first time I get a content warning whenever I open a gallery ( this one). Does that come from this update ? Na, it's from a minor update after this update. Helping idiots help themselves, or something like that. Seeing as if some idiot still visits the gallery and starts whining about it, I'll have no qualms about suggesting, in a mandatory way, that they go elsewhere.

Some of the "asian porn" posted? I mean, there are some "asian" girls out there that scare the hell out of me (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

You can not quality art. To say something has worth relies on the subjective. What is quality depends solely on the audience and that audience will hold a myriad of opinions. Don't forget that the French art world in the 19th century did not think that a group of new painters deserved a showing. Monet, Renoir and company thought differently. I for one applaud them. Your Alt. #1 will work. No gray areas. Alt #2, however, will not. You will spend too much time aurguing that elusive idea of quality. Try Alt #3. Create a new site for porn. If your choice runs not to view the content then don't. The only valid form of censorship is the on/off switch.

Oh I see. Speaking of content warnings, have you ever considered adding an adult warning to the website entrance or at least put a RTA/ICRA label in the pages headers ? Not that I'm worried about underage people coming here (little kids won't come here by themselves, and teenagers are used to see porn on the Internet, when they don't look for it in the first place), but if I were someone who wanted to shutdown that website, such a lack in child protection would probably be a lead I would follow (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Maybe if we were fluffybunnies.org, but as it is, it seems somewhat redundant. As for an "adult warning" landing page, seeing as I loath those, I have no plans of introducing one. As far as I know, there are no legal requirements to have either, not even in the US, especially after COPA was killed as unconstitutional.

Ah sorry, looks like my legal references weren't up to date (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I know that some ISP/hosts require their customers to place such a warning when appropriate though, but fortunately, it doesn't seem to be the case of LeaseWeb.

Question about the misc galleries limit.
What about updates to galleries? I maintain 3 galleries which contain the free stuff of the respective artists, all galleries are Western.(Yes yes, I have their consent for it.)
I've updated these many times. Does each update count separately, or is it just the one gallery?
Also, I got a PM several months ago telling me that updating should only be done when 8 new pics or more are available. Is that official?

About those content warnings: I clicked "Never warn me again", but I still see these warnings from time to time.

Probably have your system deleting the cookie that tells it not to show the warning.

Yes, when it comes to "never show again". Of course that option lasts as long as the cookie is on your system so...

My settings are set to store cookies until they expire. Maybe there are different cookies for different types of "offensive" content?
