QUOTE(Ebil☆Panda @ Jul 13 2010, 12:02) it's because of your screen resolution it does the same thing if you have 1280x1024 resolution without a maximized window
I understand why it is like that (it's pretty obvious), but I think it should be fixed - if you go inside some gallery it works just fine. This post has been edited by bakaneka: Jul 13 2010, 05:20

Yep, it works just fine inside the gallery. Anyway why the visualization was changed in the first place? It didn't work well with resolutions higher than 1024x768? Edit: I'm gonna hate imageshack, it was just a sample and they removed it in the blink of an eye, thank you bakaneka for your substitutive screenshot. probably because most people are now using resolutions above 1024 no sense staying optimized for an outdated norm QUOTE(bakaneka @ Jul 12 2010, 23:07) I understand why it is like that (it's pretty obvious), but I think it should be fixed - if you go inside some gallery it works just fine.
well neither of you said you knew why it was doing it, but rather, it looked as if you guys didn't (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) for the time being, hold ctrl and scroll down with the scroll wheel to shrink the page shitty temp fix for ya (or shitty perm fix if tenb doesn't want to do anything about it)

But as I mentioned before there were problems with higher resolutions? Shouldn't higher resolution monitor simply zoom the pages or leave some border rather than having this disturbing reorder of the elements (it seems like we're using PSP's embedded browser with his retarded reordering function)? Anyway the pages can be shrunk using ctrl+- as well but in this way the text become much less readable, I dunno if it's better or worse than keeping it like now (especially considering that only the search page give problem but the zoom is fixed for the entire site).

I said it "degrades gracefully", not that it'll look good in all possible configurations. Thumbnail mode is probably what looks worst, since the way it uses floating divs is dependent on a certain internal ordering that is optimized for 1280x. And I'm not making 1280x look worse just to make 1024x look better.

So 1280x looks the same and 1024x looks worse... What was the point of changing it? And I don't really want to disable tab sidebar just because of one site >.> EDIT Okay, I've made small Stylish fix - not perfect, but for me it is better than it is now (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by bakaneka: Jul 13 2010, 13:55

Uhm, the "point" is that the site actually scales down to fit on 1024x. Because judging from the responses when I changed it to 1280x in the first place, that was oh so important for so many people. Use list mode if you can't handle the thumbnails not lining up perfectly.

QUOTE(mr daniels @ Jul 13 2010, 01:14) does this new misc limit include western, non-h, and asian porn
QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jul 13 2010, 01:31) Yes.
That is, "Artist CG Sets" registered in the category, after "non-h" category, even if modified or affected by this? This, for example. https://e-hentai.org/g/245919/f2a963e00a/"Maintain Galleries" will remain on display for the registration category, the category has been changed to actually view the gallery.

I still haven't heard a straight response, it looked so bad when it was rendered at 1024 and then stretched to 1280? Could we have a poll or something to check if this feature was really so relevant to most of the users?

The way the galleries were shown in the thumbnail mode before this last update looked "that bad" in 1280x? Exactly how did it look? Was it worse than the current "thumbnail mode" shrunk in 1024x? P.S.: sorry about the bad English of the precedent post, staying up for more than 24 hours doesn't exactly help especially when you're not a native speaker. Uhm, nothing changed in 1280x. But if you ran in 1024x, it would stretch your browser window horizontally, which most people don't like. QUOTE(Rikis @ Jul 13 2010, 20:05) Is there plans, to bring back underlines in search page?
What's with the hate against the cleaner links? I don't get it. Certain other sites have been running no-underline since day one, and I never heard anyone complain about that. If you really want your underlines back, you can just install something like [ addons.mozilla.org] Stylish or Greasemonkey, and override the td.itd a{} CSS selector. Either set it to text-decoration:underline or disable it.

It's harder on the eyes for some reason, especially when you're doing all that work in the galleries for hours and hours at a time. Every day. All year. Even on weekends. So yeah.

With all this hate going around, I'd like to say I appreciate the new visual tweaks, especially the gracious scaling. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I absolutely love it.
I rarely visit the galleries, but now all the advanced search options show up when I need to.
Edit: Any chance of scaling on the expunge window? I have to make it bigger every time.
