So, this thread is specifically for discussion of what guidelines we will be following when expunging real porn as garbage.

This is not a thread arguing whether or not we should do it, that can be discussed here.

What I can think of off the top of my head:

1. Leave the asian porn alone, that's a fight we don't need.

2. If the real porn gallery is not yet tagged tag it with the tag "realporn"

3. Priority goes to finishing off started galleries, not starting new ones.

4. If a gallery is mixed hentai/real porn go with majority rule, if it's 50% or more real porn, kill it, if it's less than 50% real porn it's hentai, leave it be.

5. Do not engage in arguments or flame wars in the real porn vigilante thread, if someone tries to just ignore them, we don't need our thread cluttered that way.


That's all I can think of for now, please discuss these rules and any others you think should be added, I want to get this hammered out so we can kick this off in the next 2 days or earlier.

Those sound fine to me, but it doesn't cover something mentioned earlier. Someone had asked the question of what to do about ladyboys/ts/whatever you want to call them. Whereas I don't particularly care, we should clarify so we don't go off needlessly expunging someone's fetish, then try to take it back later.

We're already using the realporn tag, but I believe we're still arguing about the expunging.

Unless all the pictures are of a single model, galleries of this sort can be expunged because mixed real porn galleries are prohibited.

Well I won't complain about that, but they can deal with it in the prohibited content thread.

I will say this, just tagging realporn has made it hit me just how daunting this task is. There hasn't really been as many new uploads the last few days so I've been doing an hour or two after my regular tagging. After the first day I realized I hadn't really made even a dent and even I was getting sick of tagging it. So a piece of advice to anyone tagging or expunging, pace yourself or it will be very hard to go all the way with this.

I'm not trying to dissuade you from your task, I'm just telling the truth. If you go all out you may very well drop out quickly. I've seen it with taggers and it could very easily happen with this.

If you all start with just putting up links for mixed real porn (which are prohibited content without doubt), and tagging realporn on the rest, you won't need those rules for some time yet.

My goal is not the removal of mixed real porn, that's up to those that want to take care of prohibited content.

Ok, if there's no additions or changes requested I'm going to start the expunging thread in vigilante sometime tomorrow.

Why not have either:
A subdomain for real non asian, in a similar way to fjords

A category for misc real porn that's off by default?

Making a fjord like subdomain or just asking people to turn off misc from the default view has both been suggested, and both were met with resistance by the people in this thread as it does not accomplish what they want to accomplish.

That category for misc real porn is misc. If you Tenboro made a separate category for it, then it would legitimize its place here and would go against most of the things the people here want to accomplish. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
