The Illicit expunge says: "This gallery contains illicit content, like child porn or anything else forbidden by the RoE."
The RoE forbids copyright violations.
Ergo, we can expunge anything we want that violates copyrights.
No one says that we have to employ the rule consistently.

And, incidentally, Tenboro can't complain nor can anyone else. That rule exists to prevent Tenboro for being sued for violating copyright laws. If he says you can't use it to expunge copyright material, he loses the plausible denial that would be the basis for his legal defense if he gets sued. (I'm assuming Youtube used the same defense. They forbid people from uploading copyright material, but don't have any means of policing what people upload.)

Just feels wrong to do that to real porn and not everything else, and I don't want to kill everything for obvious reasons.

When I've expunged some real porn galleries in the past, I've used the "real porn on a hentai site" reason in the log. Then that way, the uploader won't get all defensive because there's nothing they can get defensive about.

the real porn galleries don't bother me, but if it bothers you people so much, why not create a separate category for it and then uncheck it so it won't show anything from said category.

I have non-h unchecked, no problems so far.

Or better yet, why not buy the tag flagging perk and just tag real porn as a bad tag.

It used to have it's own, I have tag flagging, the issue isn't me, it's the numerous other people, and the overwhelming amount of real porn being uploaded compared to hentai.

Just click advanced search options and then check this box:

Then search just like you normally would.

What about choosing the reason ? We dont have a real porn option, or do I just pick "garbage" ?

Yes, choose the garbage option and put in the log for a reason what I said about it being "real porn on a hentai site" and then click petition to expunge.

I'm not opposed to that, although Shadow Weaver might not like it.


And we have to keep the regular real porn garbage separated from the prohibited content real porn that we might come across because that can get wiped out a lot faster with our full expunge power. I'm just saying that for the new people who might want to help out.

One thing: We should ask active members with real porn galleries to delete them voluntarily. That would save us at least a little bit of work. I'll delete the few I have as soon as this gets going.

I hope you're prepared to explain to all those members who get uploading bans why they are getting them for doing nothing wrong. That would also include guys like Spectre who used to upload a lot of high quality porn galleries.

Of course there is only one way to avoid these bans and that's to remove the galleries. Of course I know of at least one person who will not give any warning or time for that.

This is just going to cause more chaos, more whining, and is going to piss off a lot of people. Unless there is an official ban on real porn handed down by Tenboro himself, this is a very bad idea. Tenboro saying he doesn't care does not constitute an official ban. You are going to punish people because you conspired to make an unwritten but enforced as official rule.


Edit: Indeed I do not like the idea of a real porn tag, are the blonde, brunette, and redhead tags that cover over 99% of the real porn not enough for you.
