I don't like when people start using a new word or saying which fills a much needed niche, and then it gets ruined by people overusing it incorrectly.

for example, "you do you" used to exist to encourage individuality and now it's often used ironically to insult people who stray from some sort of perceived normality.
"npc" used to make fun of people who parrot opinions or pick sides without understanding them fully (among other things), and now it's used flippantly as a vague insult that often amounts to "other people think the same thing as you, so you're wrong"
