Apologies, I have no idea if this is the right place for this, but I was trying to see if there were any Discord servers out there that I could join so I can have the occasional real-time (text) talk. If there's a channel here that lists them, I have yet to find it, a point in the right direction would be helpful.

I'd like to discuss things like techniques and interpretations of Japanese phrases, among others.

Not that active, but I browse the Scanner Usage School Discord server sometimes. They have channels for translators, proofreaders and editors:

If so I know that DLsite has one and even a place where translators chat and hang out. I think you need to join their Translators Unite program though.
