The general ending of it I sort of disliked but I did enjoy the last few scenes showing the time skip and how the future displayed the never ending cycle of wars and such like modern day but could've been better 8/10
Felt like the author was cooking towards an actual interesting controversial ending and then relented, having to turn the MC into a clown in the process. Which ended up a different flavor of controversial.
Anyhoo, can't say I liked it. A certain character getting shot in retrospect was incidentally the start of the downfall in my eyes. Symbolic, too. Something from near the start that I enjoyed being destroyed at the narrative whim of the author. Foreshadowing, even.
