The general ending of it I sort of disliked but I did enjoy the last few scenes showing the time skip and how the future displayed the never ending cycle of wars and such like modern day but could've been better 8/10

Felt like the author was cooking towards an actual interesting controversial ending and then relented, having to turn the MC into a clown in the process. Which ended up a different flavor of controversial.

Anyhoo, can't say I liked it. A certain character getting shot in retrospect was incidentally the start of the downfall in my eyes. Symbolic, too. Something from near the start that I enjoyed being destroyed at the narrative whim of the author. Foreshadowing, even.

The singular, feminine, nominative, vocative or ablative case of the gerundive of the Latin verb titiare... of course

(or plural, neuter, nominative, accusative and vocative)

Obviously the ZOG noticed the influence of this series and messages leading to clear National Socialist elements, and ordered Isayama to write his manga into humiliating clown shit.
Important points:
Eren did nothing wrong
Titanocaust didn't happen/ should have
Yeagerists were the good guys.

I'm of the same opinion but I think the cause of this is probably from the fact that controversial ending is something shounen absolutely must not have in modern times due to fear of manga getting the blame from real life incidents. I mean, just look at all the manga that tackled some controversies like Death Note, Platinum End, or even Naruto. They all just ended on the most boring good guy wins note even though anyone can see how things would have been more interesting if the villains of the series won and how the world after would be transformed.

"yo look at me i'm an edgelord who wants to see a bad endings in everything" No. classical hero jorney should conclude just like that, with a good ending that feels earned and satisfactory, not in a way to subvert de expectations and surprise underage audience. If you want to be "controversial", it's clear indication that you value attention not a good story.
That being sad, Eren wasn't a villain though why bring it up

I didn't like the entire final arc. I kept searching the internet to see if I had missed an entire season somewhow. It felt completely out of sync with the rest of the series.
