Right now i have 3.

One is running some old LOS version, Android 9 or so, might run some Linux on there eventually for fun.
Another one is running stock, in case i really need a stock phone where i am more guaranteed stuff works.

And my main phone is running the latest official LOS, it's rooted and i removed all google services from my main profile. The work profile, which is disabled basically all the time, has a few things like my banking app and other proprietary software. Very happy with this set up so far, all my apps are FOSS, no google services and i am fully rooted but if i really need to i can still use proprietary software, gservices as well as banking apps in my work profile.

Convenience maybe?
I have a phone I just use to connect my pc to internet or use when i go out. And a dell 2 in 1 laptop with android for gaming and everything else i might do at home.
