first phone i have is a sony ericsson t620, gorg looking phone. runs well. later becomes a family member's retired nokia 6300 with stainless steel shell, still a beautiful phone, just from that point on, im mostly stick to second hand phones.
after the nokia, i got a few black-and-white screen phones, as i had a colour-screen withdrawal thingy and i want to come back to basics. example: motorola w160, nokia 1200 etc
nothing interesting from them to smart phone days. the one noticeable is a generic chinese brand (smart) phone with full qwerty keyboard and windows mobile 6.1 standard os. that was my true internet-powered device, i frequently browse the web with that thingy on both 3g and wifi, it only supports wep standard like psp tho.
as for real smartphone days. my first android device is motorola droid 2 global, got it cheap bc it's not not one of those new fangled 4g devices. i got it cuz i thought i need a full keyboard but i was wrong, i barely type on that thing. still the keyboard is nice and the swipe motion is satisfying.
later i switched to multiple nexus 5s, together with some generic chinese phone i dont like to talk about them cuz work. i used those nexus devices as disposable phones cuz they are so cheap, almost as cheap as a meal deal. some with good conditions and some with broken screens and no battery covers, but all of them work, perfectly fine.
since then, i got a pixel 1 non-xl, till this day. this is the perfect example of why we need replaceable batteries in phones. everything works, even the size, yes the screen is small but i have small hands (and im not afraid to admit it). i dont game at all so its performance is still adequate for everyday tasks.
working alongside the pixel is my newly acquired, brand new pixel 6a. this is the endgame phone for me. it has no drawbacks besides two things: it's huge, and the underscreen fingerprint sensor is wonky. im not gonna retire this phone within 6 years.
