what do you guys use so many for? i have two - personal, and one provided by work. wouldn't have the work one though if I didn't have to.

I have one. I understand people having two but never understood having more than that.

1 main smartphone and 1 backup nokia from 15 years ago. I want something trustworthy, reliable, durable when the need arises.

I've got one, but it's like a decade old. Still works tho so cba to replace it

work phone with all the junk on it, free from work, new ish iphone SE
personal phone for actual calling, nokia e72, got it as workphone before and got to keep it

I can claim part on tax but even if I get one that is a few gens old they cost so much now.

One used for gathering all the crap from the net if I'm coerced to giving my cell phone numbah and one for all the daily stuff inclusive hotspotting. Then I got one noname smartphone bought from wish my customers gave me instead of paying the whole price. One Samsung Earyl-Area-Smartphone which I got from my Grandmother. "So now you got no excuse for not being callable!", she said. Remember that for sure... got my thing with answering the phone as the funny thing is: Sometimes I wish this thing to the moon with the whole being reachable all the time. Ha, brought me just more phones. Yet to mention is one old Alcatel which I had jailbroken with a simple code I found from a service site. Now after a factory reset the whole vodaphone-simlock went back up and the trick that worked before has lost its magic. So it is good as electronic trash tough.

I bought a new flip phone. It's shit.
I don't really care because I use it like once a day, but it's sad that the flip phones from 15-20 years ago were of higher quality. Both in build materials and software.

I probably have like 4-5 old phones in the drawers just because I haven't thrown them out but nothing I ever plan on using again.

I think i have about 10 phones? I use them for various projects. Phones are really feature dense and if you've got a phone where you can overwrite the OS with Graphene that opens a lot of doors.

There's just so much packed into a small form factor. 4G connectivity, camera, gps, display, gyro, and if you install an ssh server on them, you've basically got a better raspberry pi

Currently one. It's a slow piece of shit that needs a reboot every time I want it to function properly for the most basic tasks like searching something up (hell even fucking settings crashes) and doesn't even turn on half the time. On the bright side this android bag of fuck is built like a brick so I can throw it against the wall and it'll still function-- "function" for lack of a better word.

How do you handle MFA on different websites? Not all of them support hardware keys or other alternative methods that doesn't require a phone.
