I think something like a tooltip or collapsible field on the search page labelled GID Date Help with a list of which GID corresponds to January of each year (or May for 2007) would be good, possibly along with a Jump to GID box in between the Prev and Next buttons because at the moment you have to go and edit the URL after pressing Next to change the GID jump.

I think the update broke the image thumbnail while browsing the gallery. The image thumbnail appears blank, no images are loaded (sadpanda site)
E-Hentai still works great, i guess the update hasn't come to that site yet.

What is the deal with "many results"? Looking up big breasts alone gives me an exact number, but adding additional tags just gives me a vague "many".

How come when I look up artist:"kurosu gatari$" I get 20 something results, but when I look up group:"doll play$" I end up with 380, with nearly all of them also having the artist's tag

Looks like there might be some issue with tags that have a lot of results removed due to copyright claims, I'll look into it.

Edit: I fixed the search engine part that was causing this, but I'll make some tweaks to the indexer to prevent these galleries from sitting in the index and causing the count to be higher than it is.

This isn't a better update. I relied heavily on Page Selector and it is confusing as heck. If you are really gonna do this, give US the option to pick and choose whether we want this or not.

It also broke Images. So now i gotta wait for you to fix your mess for something no reasonable human being asked for. Thanks not a lot, but peace anyways.

Please don't hestiate to ask whether something is intentional if it's not noted in these patch notes.

Even if it's an approximate result is there really no way to change the "Found many results." text with a real number? This one honestly bothers me much more than the page selectors.

I agree with this, it would go a long way towards making the update easier to use and comprehend. At least the jump to GID box if nothing else.

I want to go to page 30 of my H galleries that i've been favoriting since forever and since they're sorted by years i know that the further i go in pages, the further i go chronologically to look for stuff that i want to find.
No, i don't want to use manually input tags to try and narrow the search because it's already narrowed by me using one click to go to a desired page. Not to mention it's just damn useful.

Can we use GID search like that from GID:A to GID:B
it will show the all galler's GID between A and b

I know you're being sarcastic, but the thing is even if we manually input tags the number of results can sometime still be overwhelming especially if you have more that 10,000+ where most of it have near identical tags.

For favorites anyway I used to like looking up random doujins I have favorited by rolling a random number based on the number of doujins in that favorited category, now I have no way to specifically navigate to doujin #3214 if I roll 3214/5000 except by clicking the next button 128 times. I get why this change had to be made for big searches, but perhaps for stuff like favorites a separate index could be used to create pages still?

This is a change that does not take into account the needs of users at all.

Since "Never To Be Added" from the wiki is now falsified by adding OR search operations and searching with only negative tags,

can we have alternative sorting please? By gallery page count and author for instance? Maybe even date range option for filtering beneath page count filtering?

That would offset the pain of the now removed page select.
