I understand it's hard to cast aside something that probably required several hours/days of work..... but.... "just hear them".

edit: now I use it the expunged mode search suck. A lot of single released translations got expunged after someone (most often compilators who barely edit, even MM3 is guilty of this by putting an unedited CGR in his tank release) upload a tank version.

Come back the number pages, I like to read old stuff and now is impossible

Page numbering is such a basic and necessary function for any library beyond a certain size. It provides both information and function to the user that's basically impossible otherwise. It's honestly a bit baffling it needs to be explained how much of a basic requirement it is.

I think the dev(s?) just really wanted to remove it so they really wanted to believe that people didn't actually use it on a regular basis. I get they needed some sort of solution, but removing page numbers is clearly not it.

This is absolutely retarded, and you have brain damage if you think was/is a good idea. Taking away pages is single handily the dumbest thing you have ever done. I'm actually convinced you are intentionally trying to kill this site.

Let's say I'm looking for a manga/doujin in my favorites. I don't remember the title or maybe the tags that lead to it. But I remember around when I added it to my favorites. Let's say it was very far back in my fav list. How the fuck am I going to reach it without clicking next a million times.

I'm sure the devs are incredibly good at coding, but they certainly seems completely clueless when it comes to user experience. Like, everyone here wants pages numbers, you know, as constant, as opposed to just some random dumb numbers.

Sure I could left open the porn website at all time, I'm sure that's a great idea.

Wow, do I love having absolutely no idea how far I've navigated, or be able to jump to the place I left off last time. Also, when I was looking for data from 1 to 100 pages and gave up on 15 pages, the next time I try to find it again, I have to use the Internet bookmark function on 15 pages...

Just roll it back. This is not an improvement and you know it. Everybody else knows it. The site is borderline unusable without page numbers.

Any update that makes E-Hentai more robust for the future is a good thing, I applaud that.
Paginator could certainly be better though, by making GIDs easier to browse as many people have mentioned before me so I'm not gonna bother repeating all that.

Regarding deleted favorites; While losing access to stuff is always a sad thing, I completely understand why stuff is removed from E-Hentai. Like the change in the search engine, it is to safeguard the longevity and future of E-Hentai.

That said, even YouTube, the harbinger of chaos and cause of many playlists to look like Swiss cheese, has the dignity to at least acknowledge that they've removed stuff from your personal collections.

I don't mind losing access to stuff. I do mind not knowing what I lost in the first place.
I don't need the tags, I don't need a thumbnail. But atleast give us the gallery name.

I'm very sad that this change came at the cost of the page numbers. But maybe someone clever can add in some similar function... Back on track, if this new system is so much more efficient... Please, hear my wish-list item. And if someone already did it, please send me a pm with more information.

But what if there were a convenient means of exporting my favorites lists to some kind of file. Maybe a spreadsheet or ideally just an HTML document? Just something so I can have an accurate list of the title of every gallery I favorites, and really stretching it if we could extract all the tags from the gallery associated with the title.

I wanna organize my favorites. And its hard. Itd be a lot easier if I could easily export all that text, and do some magic on my own puooter to make it magically somehow be less random. Pls pls.

This was an absolutely brain-dead move. Why not simply remove page numbers for a large number of pages, like 10,000? The site was doing just fine with that, so why not simply say 'Oh, there's more than 10,000 pages of results, please be more specific'? I can get that 28,000 pages is a bit much, but the page functionality is absolutely vital as an intuitive way for people to navigate this place. Far simpler than the alternative - having a look-up table for every GID and the date they were uploaded. Or do you want US to be the lookup table now, when all we want to do is fap?
