About the Gems: How about if we get a popup window asking "Do you want to replace your current gem with [x gem]" ? That way, we have a choice to discard the current gem or not. Or would that be imbalanced? Also, about Domino Strikes: I mentioned this in the HV Questions thread, but are Domino strikes not supposed to proc if it kills the primary target first? Is this intentional or a bug? Please make it so that it procs even if it kills the primary target. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

I don't think so. That would be a lot more annoying than having to use gems once in a while. @Boggy: This change doesn't "weaken" gems so much as force players to use the ones they don't care about. Actually after experience a while in IW, I noticed, this change is worse, it's way better the way it was before. -First about the several gens being overwritten when several mobs die in a single round wasn't resolved, because before we need to get lucky our last gem be a useful one, now it have to be the first. -You not only have to spend extra effort to use every single one you get, also lose turns of supportive spells. -By using the gens immediately, in crucial times when you need a extra tick of regen or MP from a restorative items, guess what, you already spend the gem so you die (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (This is very important, more if we talk of arenas) -You can keep the useful gens, and in that way you don't waste them, but there's also a price: you lose other useful gems the might drop after. (this is not so uncommon to happen) After playing yesterday saving the useful gens, and today just wasting all, I saw a better result is wasting, so the little improvement of saving some, actually it's not advantageous, plus wasting gens or not, I now spend more items than before this change >_<

List of changes players would like to be made: -Gem override hierarchy (We would be willing to spend hath on this) -Additional Equipment sets -A second quickbar (It doesn't even have to be hotkey compatible)
Of lesser importance, but still nice: -Add a "clear all" button to the battle inventory. -Item sets.
Bugs- IA upkeep triggering between rounds.

I agree that a popup would be annoying and unnecessary, but I think you're underestimating just how annoying it is being forced to immediately use every single gem. It's far more often than "once in a while," especially in IW and Grindfest where you'll often see 2-3 gems in a single round. Also, cmdct mentioned something I'd meant to say but forgot: by forcing us to use the gems we don't care about, we waste turns of our supportive magic. This is is always bad for every supportive spell except Regen, and even for Regen it's bad if you're at full HP.

I'm not sure if this was intended or not, but attempting to cast a spell on an enemy that has coalesced mana on it when you have insufficient MP (even at the half cost) no longer causes the effect to end.

I believe it not disappearing was intentional. Some of those changes were from three months ago, but it makes sense to me. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Now I wish there was a way to see the current power gem without having to scroll through the items section. It really isn't a big deal in small battles, but in really large ones (like the ones in item world), it's hard to see if you got a P-gem (even if it's in bold).

It adds a box next to the Focus button which shows the icon for the gem you're currently holding.

So why did he skip 0.4.6?? Just curious. On a side note: it's REALLY annoying to have to press the P button over and over and over again...and even with the help of STAT (i.e., turning on the notification to taleart at every Gem), it is frankly a very annoying add-on. Just what is the purpose/intent of the "use every Gem or else" Tweak, anyway?? I just don't see the logic or necessity of it. Was it maybe to further discourage the use of 'Bots, somehow?? (I don't know how those auto-play cheat scripts work -never even asked for one let alone seen one -but assume that perhaps they make use of Gems in order to maximize auto-grind longevity...) EDIT:QUOTE(HybridGuardian @ May 3 2010, 10:20)  .... How about an automatic use all gems you get in an instance feature (on choice of course), since you can“t wait for a better one to appear anymore?
