For worst game ever bought, it would probably be Binding of Isaac in my case.
The floaty movement was an instant turnoff.
The rng level generation fucked me over so much, half my runs offered zero upgrades in one way or another. Like when I get 4,5,6 keys but no chest anywhere, or there is a chest, but it's surrounded by rocks which I can't blow away because no damn bombs dropped anywhere! Or I get tons of coins but the trader is inaccessible because I have no bomb to get through the wall or no key to open the door to him.
Every single projectile weapon that I've seen was dogshit.
This game singlehandedly awoke and killed my curiousity for rogue-likes in about 12h of gameplay.
Very close to that, though for more sentimental rather than technical reasons, was Sacred Citadel. I played Sacred Underworld and 2 (ARPGs both) on the German HC servers for years, even visited the international HC servers for some periods of time, and had a great time with both. Then sadly, the studio went bankrupt, some dipshit publisher bought the IP and shat out this travesty. Had ZERO to do with ANYTHING about the originals. They just took the name, slapped in onto some generic sidescrolling beat em up. Such a travesty.
