Pretty often, mostly against my will due to insomnia. Though sometimes I do end up staying up jerking off. Last night it was around 5 am when I fell asleep.

The solution to insomnia in my case is to get enough exercise each day. We didn't evolve to sit in a chair all day long.

No time to exercise today? Fine, you get sleep maintenance insomnia, and it costs you more time than the exercise would have.

Take sleep whenever you can get it.

Even 30 minutes is good.

Hell yeah.

I remember when I was younger I never wanted to sleep.

Now I can't sleep enough.

The thing is my current job involves manual labor. I think for me it's more so due to my sleeping schedule which has been fucked for a long time, though on occasion I do end up sleeping early which is always nice.

yeah sleep is awesome, used to hate sleep or be known for going out partying for like three days straight without sleep.

Its kind of funny, I earn 5x more now but used to pick up exponentially more easily when I had a manual labor job and was in much better physical shape.

Job used to remind me of Hunter x Hunter with the weighted doors to enter the zoldyck family estate, as you had to be able to pass strength tests to do certain jobs.

I remember once when I started saying it was impossible except for the Islander co-workers and the old white supervisor just stood up came over and lifted the 70-80kg with one arm easily. I often was paralyzed with muscle pain after work, but did get stronger fast.

I often stay up late due to work, as I frequently work 12-hour shifts. However, after every 24 hours of work, I am granted a 2-day break.

Who hates sleep wtf sleep is like the best thing on earth and I thought this was something universally agreed upon given the prevalence of all the "just 10 more minutes" jokes and such.

Exercise makes my insomnia much worse. I still do it for the other health benefits and because I enjoy it.

I don't chug PWOs or do heavy lifting sessions right before bed. I've read all the usual advice as I've been going to the gym for close to two decades now. I don't know why, but I know I'm not alone in this as it's a pretty frequent topic on /fit/. Any amount of heavy exercise during the day will make it near impossible for me to fall asleep on time and/or wakes up 3-4 hours later feeling like shit and unable to fall back asleep. If I just sit on the computer all day I sleep like a baby.

Working out 3x a week (or aiming to) + lighter exercise like walking or cycling on days off my sleep schedule is this permanent mishmash of 3-4 hour nights and sleep deprivation until I finally crash and sleep 12-18 hours to balance things out. Must not be healthy, but it is what it is.

Although I really want to try to stay up late, my body won't allow it, so I just go to bed early.
