The latest firefox update (version 96.0) breaks alt.hentaiverse.org because

Firefox will now enforce the Cookie Policy: SameSite=lax by default which helps defend against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks.

it's a bit strange how firefox treats the cookie, since the main site and alt use https and http.

In firefox, when the cookies' attribute is SameSite=Lax, it won't be sent over http, but SameSite=Strict works fine for both http and https, chrome doesn't have such problem, at least from what I've tested. It's confusing since MDN docs says the SameSite cookies feature is available only in secure contexts (HTTPS) and chrome already use SameSite=Lax as default but no one has reported any issues.

So it's not possible to access alt.hentaiverse.org directly now, the solution is to either add SameSite=Strict for Set-Cookie, or add https support for alt (I don't actually know if it will work, but adding https for alt is pointless anyway).

Maybe there are better solution but we need some experts to find out.

Considering how easy it is to clear floor 50 of the tower with 1h, can the tower and its rewards be changed so that they are instead based on how many different fighting styles you can clear the floors which grant a reward. So once you get to floor 50 with one style you can just try floor 30, 40 and 50 with other styles instead of having to clear all floors again.

Maybe another temporary solution:
Modify your hosts, point hentaiverse.org to the IP of alt.hentaiverse.org. And now you can have the speed of alt and the HTTPS.

It is still quite strange for me to see alt has HTTPS deployed for hentaiverse.org but no alt.hentaiverse.org.

Another Feature Request: Auto transfer all Isekai Legendary equipments to the persistent, just as Peerless equipments. And the players can have Legendary Cores from their Isekai equipments. Alternative solution is to salvage all the Legendary Equipments into cores when the Isekai resets.

Of course players can just salvage their Legendaries theirselves. But it is a nice change to add.

I don't think the firefox 96 not able to access alt, I test it and it work OK, althought it does redirect to https://hentaiverse.org at first.
It not likely that the SameSite attribute cause the problems too, probobly because HSTS, just type full [alt.hentaiverse.org] http://alt.hentaiverse.org in the address if it redirect to https, maybe [alt.hentaiverse.org] http://alt.hentaiverse.org/?login=-1 if you want to login.

Well I think I figure out why I can access, may because I manually set cookie before, the SameSite=Lax does make the ff96 not able to access alt.
Would like to report another related problem: the reason that I manually set cookie is because the login cookie in Hentaiverse expires as "session", that means HV logout every time I close the broswer and redirect to forums to login again when I open the broswer.
For user side manually set the cookie may be a solution, but em.. this should be done by server side maybe

Well figure out why the cookie of HV exprie after close the broswer too, may because the HV does not have a logout function. So it's not a good idea for normal user to manually set cookie too unless you ensure don't need to logout...

It's up to you whether you want to salvage those equips for cores, soulbind them to get the equip, or leave them as they are for the credits.

I think the main point here is that unless legendary cores are priced under 50~100k, which I believe is the max you can get from selling any single equipment piece, the obvious move is to salvage every legendary equipment before the season is over.

If legendary cores are going to be tradeable anyway, then there's no reason at all to limit what equipment players can bring to persistent, or possibly just give plyers the option to auto-salvage instead of auto-selling their equipment once the isekai season ends.

As for soulbinding, we barely get any soul fragments on Isekai, while on the opposite hand I'm sitting at 65k fragments rotting in my persistent inventory, so soulbinding is out of the question for those who want to bring multiple equips to persistent, as buying fragments from the shop is just daylight robbery.

Auto-selling the equips at the end of the season would just be frustrating for any player who didn't manage to play HV for whatever reason and missed the final deadline for conversion, so now that cores will be a thing, you should look into this matter more than just leaving it to the player's will, as we don't have much choice in this matter to begin with.

Based on the top floors cleared report in the first post, I would say there are only a handful of players still competing for the peerless voucher near the end of the season. I think most stop well before the season ends and therefore have weeks if not months to salvage every legendary that is not soulbound. Auto-selling everything else keeps things simple.

Misc

- The base durations for most debuff spells was significantly increased.

- The "Bot Profit Share" mechanics was removed

What exactly does this mean?

For example if I sell 1x High Grade Cloth and someone buy it for 13k credits.

1) I earn 13k all.
2) I earn 5k (item shop buy price)
3) I earn 50c only (item shop sell price)

Did you check before and after giving them ability points? In any case, there is one that I have seen and will complain about:

ETHER THEFT, Augment to the DRAIN spell where if everything is done correctly will drain mana from a monster

• Compared to persistent the duration has tripled
• After a few turns a monster will no longer have mana to drain
• A monster will not regenerate mana while ether theft is active so no more mana will be drained
• Even though it has tripled duration, the way it works now the original length was sufficient.
• Please allow fixed drain rate even if monsters don't have mana OR allow monsters to regen first and then for drain to work

While waiting for more details to be decided and announced, would like to know that do amnesia shards and dark descent hath perk still take an important role in the new system?

If I don't misunderstand anything, the riddle suppose to heal no matter the answer you submit, but I've encounter several situation that the buff is given but not the heal.
It mostly happens when the answer is like 1 correct 2 wrong/missed

You will only be healed (and restore your mana and spirit) if you answer the riddle within the bonus time limit (currently is half of the total time given to you).

It should scale from 90 seconds below level 5 to 30 seconds at level 300. (Bonus time is half that time.)

You most likely didn't answer the riddle in time.

So fail due to time got only buff without healing? The case is I only get one not both
I'm very sure I answer in time since this happened to me a decent amount and it's impossible to fail in time every time

Buff is given if you answer, regardless if it's correct.

Heals only given if you answer in the first half of the given time.

Not quite. You have to clear floor 30, so ypu have to be at Current Floor: 31 (80 Rounds)
Oops, sorry, I missed the change. You should qualify for the +1 stats.

no this has changed this season. Current Floor 30 is enough

- The stat bonus thresholds are now for reaching the floor rather than clearing it, since the readout makes it a bit confusing.
