Depends if they are doing anything sane, rather than giving trillions in tax credits to corporations based on tokenistic diversity hiring or vague external stakeholders you could spend the money on domestic advanced manufacturing or clean nuclear energy, or fixing the problems with solar and wind.
Giving corporations massive tax credits for vague performance on rigged measures does not do anything, its either inefficient or ineffective.
France is one of the few green energy exporters but corruption/maintenance issues mean they won't be able to keep exporting to other countries. The problem is that most of them are ancient 2nd gen reactors that are approaching the end of their nominal service life. With major overhaul they can last longer.
Solar and wind currently have major problems due to production and waste management. Solar panels can be recycled but at best you get 35c on the dollar to do so, so its all dumped. The other big problem with solar is the battery requirements. We are putting 500k solar panels into landfill every day now.
If multiple developed nations became energy exporters due to 4th gen nuclear, then we could also reduce carbon output in the developing world.

I'll get 7 and 8 when I see them at some rock-bottom price point (I got #2 for $5; that kind of price point is what I'm hoping for). Hilarious how much more expensive this series would be to collect on VHS, when I could just record a VHS from one of these laserdiscs for similar results (I have a very nice VCR).

Just sourced a laserdisc of the Dragon's Heaven OVA. Thought it looked interesting. We'll see.
It was kind of expensive. To my knowledge it's only ever had VHS and LD releases, and possibly Betamax. Maybe some day I'll manage to find a betamax VCR that still works somewhere. For now I have a small stack of betamax tapes that I can't do anything with that I don't want to keep growing.
I wonder if it could have gotten a VHD (not VHS, VHD) release or something too, lol.
