Oh, so that's where "nothing can stop the smooze" comes from. I heard the song on a yu-gi-oh abridged series episode years ago and always wondered, but had just resigned myself to never knowing unless I actively looked for it.

I miss early youtube, too. When you could just straight up find movies on it, and before it became totally commercialized and overrun by people watching other people playing video games (the absolute easiest way to crank out hours of content).

Thanx for the Halo reminder. Your other post got me to chase after the live-action Halo series. Looking at ep1, it disrespects the Halo franchise as I've experienced in game lore. The writers of the show didn't seem to have love of Halo canon so they treated the televised video as yet another opportunity to deliver woke messages. And the writers didn't seem to be experienced at fighting since the soldiers didn't have military logic and military team cooperative tactics.

As it turns out, reviewers said Producers and writers didn't even play Halo before writing the show.

Barely. The studio originally wanted a Sonic movie that had nothing to do with the original. They remade it for the fans and it did really well, almost like actually providing a product that consumers want works.

Yeah apparently his life got fucked up when he and a friend got into heroin. Maybe he got into a fight with his last friend and whipped out a machete from his collection. Or maybe they tried an intervention and he came out with a knife.

It's been almost that long since I last really paid attention, too.

I don't really mind the (non-pedo) stuff, I just think he's kind of famous for being edgy and the fact that "normies" even know about him drives me away. Personality cults are dumb, even if or when the art is good.
