If nips weren't so beta we wouldn't have cancer like nagatoro. A real chad would have fucked that loli in the butt to shut her up. When it comes to anilemons i like mine realistic like Planetes. I just checked the current series for this year and holy hell it's all shit. [ www.polygon.com] https://www.polygon.com/22852808/new-anime-2022-how-to-watchThe only manga that i read is the skeleton isekai one, it's decent because MC is not-a-cuck and starts the story OP AF. Thermae Romae is a finished manga that is a comical isekai, just like The Ride-On King(which hopefully will never get an anime because Putin is persona non grata). Spriggan might be good though if there's no tragedy or drama, but it's almost impossible nowadays for it to have a straight plot without forced twists. All the other shows on this page are garbage that i glanced over during my quest to find readable cultivation manga. The stuff that i read almost daily is Martial Peak, Apotheosis, Rebirth Of The Urban Immortal Cultivator, Martial God Asura, It Starts With A Mountain. I've got over a hundred ongoing mangoes but i usually let them back up with releases before i do a mass download. This post has been edited by Pillowgirl: Mar 31 2022, 03:02

That's me, but I forget to check back in on them. Been letting Dungeon Meshi back up for seven years now, for instance. IDK if it's even ongoing anymore.

QUOTE(dragontamer8740 @ Mar 30 2022, 09:08) Opinion discarded. That's how I feel, too. We are now two years short of a decade out from there, and I see nothing worthwhile being animated. Non-animated manga, yeah, there's still a handful of okay things, but it feels like that's started drying up, too. I hope I'm wrong about that. That's sort of true, but I think that there can be times where the demand is there but unseen because there are enough people will still just swallow whatever garbage a company puts out, and appealing to the remaining demand is harder than appealing to the lowest common denominator who can be counted on to consume mindlessly. Apple does this in tech. Hollywood does it in movies daily with its shitty sequels and new star wars movies/merch. Your post started off as trash opinions and then improved as I read it. You don't need an apostrophe in "were," there, though. I do see more bits and pieces of the nightmare societies a lot of cyberpunk stuff focuses on falling into place all the time.
"Cute girls doing cute things" can be entertaining, but not when everyone does it and does it so poorly. And it's definitely not cerebral/thought provoking like the best stuff is.
Let me get this straight; You complain about moeblobs in your initial post, pointing out the cutesy things that saturate anime, attack me for agreeing with you in my own way, contradict your dismissal of that by immediately agreeing with everything afterwards, insulted my opinion again, pointed out an error anyone with adequate reading comprehension would have noted and understood what was meant, but did so anyways, then surmised in your own words essentially my same thought? QUOTE(Pillowgirl @ Mar 30 2022, 00:34) The Ride-On King.
The salt on Twitter and Reddit would be amazing. QUOTE(Pillowgirl @ Mar 29 2022, 00:52) *looks nervously at 166eps of sailor moon and 316eps of gintama*
I watched all the sailor moon that was on tv but think I have 40 eps of Gintama left.

Sailor Moon is really hard for me to rewatch. It hasn't aged well, and shows how bad mainstream anime beginnings in the west were. Still love Mars, Jupiter, Urbutthole her chewtoy, Neptune, though
Gintama falls into that mid 2000s shounen hump like Bleach and Naruto where it drags out too long. Though, the characters were marginally better in Gintama. And I actually enjoyed Gintama to an extent. But it's so procedural and afraid to take risks like everything else in the genre. It's a shame it wasn't liked better.

QUOTE(dragontamer8740 @ Mar 29 2022, 07:28) We will never get that style or production quality back now that generic moeblobs and cookie-cutter isekai have taken over. Maybe if the studios weren't being overworked and underpaid, it would help with the quality, at least. Computers are part of the issue, too.
This hit a little too close to home. (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] https://i.imgur.com/TCM4kIm.jpg)

Hey, Sex Kittens guy. Like the games, though need to take a cue from Klacid and Tent and put some better music in those games. I'm talking trance/techno/dance. Other then that, I look forward to Slutty's continued adventures.

QUOTE(Olaf Manfred Sergei @ Mar 30 2022, 22:53) Reee Hahaha disregard that, I suck cocks. This is FSZ. I genuinely do not care. Relax. I will take the parts of your opinion that I like while still feeling that Azumanga Daioh is kind of uninteresting. Very cute, but boring. Better as a manga. It may have defined the formula, but I don't like the formula. QUOTE(Yomuchan @ Mar 31 2022, 00:16) This hit a little too close to home. It's the thing that makes me saddest whenever I start to watch something good from that period for the first time. I know I'll never get to see it for the first time again. And that they haven't made anything like it for decades, and probably never will again. I've managed to hold out on Akira for a long time now; I want it to be something i can really savour whenever I finally do sit down to watch/read it. Or do you specifically mean the anime that I haven't watched? A perfectly reasonable response. Thank you for telling me which sub forum I'm in. And your shoehorned opinion of Azumanga is valid, and I'm sure not at all inconsistent to how you may really feel about it due in part to any contradictory behavior you may have shown here, today. Haha, I was so angered by it, that I almost immediately agreed with you. How kooky, huh? Enjoy your cocks. I see you edited your post. Amazing how you added words, yet changed nothing. Famicom cartridges for instance. The anime. I usually read the manga afterwards, as animes tend to differ from the source, I can appreciate the condensed version without the usual gripe of reading the manga and complaining about what was left out, butchered or what have you. If you watch the anime, go subbed. The voice work in the dub has everyone sounding similar. This post has been edited by Olaf Manfred Sergei: Mar 31 2022, 06:47

Yeah I never choose dubbed unless the original is unlistenable. I edit 99% of the posts I write. Your writing style and posting habits remind me a little of someone who was here a few months ago. If that's a coincidence, though, then welcome. I hope we can get along. This post has been edited by dragontamer8740: Mar 31 2022, 08:00

I think I only like the dub where I heard the dub first. QUOTE(dragontamer8740 @ Mar 30 2022, 19:48) If that's a coincidence, though, then welcome. I hope we can get along.
This forum probably has only one real poster and the rest are schizophrenic ramblings and talking to themselves.

I'm not really prone to instigating, so much as just calling people out on things when they act afool. Honestly, I thought it was cool you revived the revised thread after the mods killed it off. I enjoyed reading through it and being reminded of what got me in to this stuff. So if you want squash things, I certainly won't object and we move on, water under the bridge. And thanks. I think we'll be fine, my dude. I have no issues with dubs if the talent isn't just the localization producers reading off the script in one go like a lot of early stuff. Series like Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop and Kill la Kill are a few examples of having decent English VAs working on them. Love or hate them, Aniplex of America, Funimation and even I'll fated ADV made anime.accessible, and still do outside of Japan. ADV, even with their schlocky voice actors gave me a lot of the things I watched fondly when I was a younger. Hell, they made the gag dub of Ghost Stories so funny it did better than it did in Japan. Hell, don't get me started on gag dubs. If you've never watched Shin Chan's Funimation dub for Adult Swim, Duel Masters for Toonami, or the Americanized Oh Super Milk Chan, you're missing out on some real gems wherein the dub gave us something great when they stray from the source material and have creative liberties. Honestly I tend towatch both subbed and subbed to see what's changed, how much was butchered, and how much effort was put into each version. It gives me a reason to rewatch something and have an extra appreciation for what's put into it. Something I find harder to do with more modern anime.

Crunchyroll: we will charge more as we will have a bigger catalogue due to merge with funimation
Also Crunchyroll: We will also lose 60 titles at the same time.

Given the amount spam threads that require minimal effort to respond to, you're not entirely off there.
