Your pixel art seems to have vastly improved. Did you do your sig banner? Keep it up!
I would show some of my better art but my style is unique and would affect my anonymity.
No, unfortunately - the sig banner is from the title screen of Ys for PC-8801. All I did is downscale it and do some filtering to preserve sharpness - with the side effect of lowering luminosity in some areas, which I decided was an improvement so I left it that way. I just adore that image so I wanted to use it.
I might redraw it, just because I had to downscale it and I think going over it pixel by pixel might be good to clean it up. But it's definitely not an original drawing. I wish it were. She's beautiful.

I think I like that for similar reasons to why I like the first Procol Harum album cover.
Profile pic was mine, though. Very proud of it still.
And as to the rest of your response, I can promise I'm not a narc, but can't speak for anyone else or do anything to prove I'm not without compromising my own anonymity.
There's lots of stuff I do that I can't post in tech chat for that reason, too.
Anyway, if you ever have some time and are okay with antiquated action RPG's, Ys is pretty fun and has a really nice soundtrack on some versions (Yuzo Koshiro did a lot of it for the PC-9801/PC-8801 versions. The other ports use modified versions of his soundtrack as well).
I think that the best way to play it in English might be the Turbografx-16 CD port, or the Apple IIgs port (which is closer to the original in terms of gameplay/art than the TGFX16/PC Engine one). I can only play the PC-88/PC-98 versions because I already know the story from playing an english port and have rudimentary understanding of kana.
You could also play a more modern port of it. It's a Falcom RPG, so it's still available in newer formats.

But there's a patch for that.
There's also an MS-DOS port of Ys in english, but the sound is just PC speaker beeps.
