I'd vote for them their views are usually pretty "based" And I get the impression that making people uncomfortable or appearing unhinged is intentional when they do it.

I do get the feeling that I'll never be able to have a sustained and genuine tête-à-tête with them, though, due to that same desire to remain cryptic and somewhat detached. (tête-à-tête is "head to head" in french - sort of a meeting of the minds) Cryptic and somewhat detached is sort of like anyone who runs for political office, though, of course. Hope I'm wrong about never having that chance (I'd love to figure out what they're all about), but I can understand wanting to keep a safe distance on a place like this. Caution's probably not a bad thing.
So for now I'm resigned to just appreciating them from afar.
I hope my analysis is at least interesting to necromusume if they happen to stop by and see this. I know I often wonder how others see me so maybe it'll be useful to them if they're trying to cultivate a specific image. (I'm not really trying to cultivate an image, just like knowing how I come off)
