https://youtu.be/Qj3Oq3llOaQ?t=85 Gosh, I forgot how much I loved this song. Easily one of my most favorite of all time. Too bad the anime is kinda sucky.

TBH I dun know how to determine the chord progression of a song (even after an hour of google search)
I would say to imagine you are playing a piano. Ignore the melody that your right hand is playing, but rather focus on your left hand's movements. It shouldn't be as fast as the melody, but slower, usually changes every 2 or 4 beats, or even more, compared to melody that can change faster than once every beat.

PS
1) Question 1: 7 songs in 1 post for all 4 rounds or just 1 submission?
2) Question 2: all 4 submission in 1 post or separate?
3) Question 3: can I resubmit if inappropriate entry?
4) Question 4: Is my entry valid if the time stamp is incorrect? Is there any tolerance?
5) Tips 1: to ppl who want to know what
chord is, you could check this out (so far the best intro I found)

https://www.zombieguitar.com/how-to-determi...sion-4-methods/6) Tips 2: this website will show the transcript of a song:
[
musescore.com]
https://musescore.com/user/23901781/scores/4447346 A1: 7 songs in a post, one post each round, so 28 max in the whole event.
A2: 4 separate posts. Because posts are marked by edited time if you edit your post, editing a single post for 4 rounds will disqualify your first 3 rounds.
A3: Yes. You can edit your post (if you made it during that round) or make a new one. Either way, your submission time will be updated to either the post edit time or your new post time.
A4: A few seconds off is fine, ideally: 1 second right before the progression. But no timestamp = disqualification for only the song without timestamp. Take BlueWaterSplash's post for example. If he doesn't edit his post to include timestamps by the end of this round, he will have 4 valid submissions and 3 invalid for round 1.
T1: I usually go the other way round lol. It would be much easier to listen to the root notes for the anime progression, then it's a perfect fourth down from the first chord in case of a major scale, or the last chord in case of a minor scale.

also ignore diminished and augmented chords as well
I have to disagree with this. One of my favorite progressions is
IV V #Vdim vi, which is a spin on the basic IV V iii vi by replacing the 3rd chord with a passing chromatic diminished. It's also a hallmark of anime music. I initially planned to make another music themed giveaway like this based on this progression but judging from the engagement rate for this one, it seems unlikely I will continue this kind of giveaway in the future.
T2: Only helpful if you can read music sheets though.
