Nah just do what we do here, make it easy to vote but hard to cheat.

Its seriously not hard for people to get a proper ID, and you don't even need one most of the time voting here as they cross check votes.


In the US last election they had dead people voting, people voting in multiple regions, ballot collection for mass voting, illegals voting with fake ids/fake addresses. Strategic voting machine malfunctions seem to keep occurring as well. In a proper system is near impossible to get over 95-97% voter turn out, but in the US some blue areas had above 100% turnout...

Usually establishment right and left choose candidates that will allow the administrative un-elected bureaucrats to maintain power and influence. Then establishment politicians can campaign on wedge pointless issues and billionaires and lobby groups can fund their interests.
