Hi, I have made a dark style css similiar to the HV dark theme using Stylus plugin (Chrome and Firefox)

It supports the following scripts:
> HV Utils 2.13.0
> Live Percentile Ranges 1.1.0
> Monsterbation 1.4.1.2
> HentaiVerse Monster Database UserScript 1.2.0
> Hentaiverse Battle Stats 1.1.3

need to change the color via Monsterbation Settings as well, instruction in the file header comment
after you installed stylus, paste the css content into it and at the bottom bar,

Really nice, looks solid all around, although I found the smiley face that tells your stamina looks funny and now I have trouble noticing the blinking icons, the HP/MP bar, the SP pips and the SGs don't stand out as much now. Guess I'll have to try it a bit more so I get used to that or tweak it a bit for better results, but works pretty nicely and finally there's use to the "highlight color in battle log" option for me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

There are a couple of styles for e-hentai around. You can also try out some dark mode extensions.

The stylus CSS can be turned on and off anytime which is nice.

I tried to add a second Monsterbation script without the changes in Dump so that I can toggle between them as well. That didn't work unfortunately. They both use the same Dump config for some reason.

Is there any simple solution that I'm missing. The only thing that comes to mind would be using a second browser with the stylus dark theme and the Monsterbation dark config enabled.

The goal would be to have the regular design activated during the day and the dark one at night (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Well that's weird, I remember reading some very old posts of people dual wielding monsterbation scripts for various purposes so there's a chance there's some LocalStorage shenanigans going on if that's the case. Or maybe it's just as simple as naming one of them differently, or maybe it's the priority of the scripts in the userscript manager causing trouble. thanks for updating and keeping it usable! i can confirm that the monster database script dark mode is still [i.imgur.com] non-functional as far as i can tell (since raraha's dark style was implemented into it), though i'm kinda sure it's just because of a lack of upkeep on onceforall's end. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

of course i could easily sidestep around this issue if i just used an extension like darkreader, but its style clashed really oddly with raraha's and i preferred this dark style first and foremost (not to mention it created an issue like [i.imgur.com] this which i definitely didn't like. really, this issue is more of a pet peeve than anything else at this point, but i wouldn't mind a fix for this down the line without the usage of extensions. maybe there's a fix someone made already? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

HVUtils had a big update recently and as expected it broke some stuff, fixed it so might as well share.

There are extra steps for the setup in the OP that are easy to miss, in any case what you have to do to solve that is:

in Monsterbation settings press the button [Dump] and replace

and the place to get this information whenever you need it is within the css itself (the part that was pasted into Stylus). For further tweaking of colors you can do it from Stylus directly, just gotta enable the live editing or whatever is called and you can see what color you like best for what setting if there's already a rule, or add new custom ones if necessary.



EDIT: Forgot to mention, if that doesn't work remember to type in "hentaiverse.org" at the bottom where it says "applies to [URLs on the domain]" and going back and forth between alt and normal HV can have issues if you don't dump your settings in both domains. Particularly an issue when doing popup Random Encounters. Won't work with the Monster Database script or HV Battlestats either so probably needs an extra rule for those.
