I assume it's because there are currently no ads displayed. I'm hoping this is just a temporary thing, and anyway I can still trigger encounters from the Galleries, so it's not a big problem. Thought I'd mention it, though.

Hmmmm... I don't have any problems triggering them.

It triggers; it just doesn't always tell you. Try changing to a different page in the HentaiVerse window, like to character or bazaar screen, and if you've triggered the hourly battle you'll be taken straight to it.

Nope; not working. AFAIK it does always tell you, but it can be easy to miss if it happens while browsing the gallleries as opposed to refreshing something like your karma log with the deliberate intention of triggering a battle.

I triggered the dawn event, but I also noticed the disappearance of ads. I'll have to see what happens at the hourly.

Both the battle events and the dawn event are not working for me either through main site.

Just got the hourly on the main site, so it's something on your end.

The main page didn't give me the dawn event. When I went to the galleries to check the hath page, I got it there.

I'm not seeing the Hourlies, either.

And haven't for at least a couple of hours now.

(Can't tell you one way or the other about the reported disappearance of the Ads.)

EDIT: I can get my Hourly by going into the User Control Panel.....but none of the Links (Credits/Training/Karma/ et al.) are working either.

Me Grimlock thinks that all of the tweaks that Tenboro had to make to the Site in recent days is throwing everything out of kilter in unforeseen, potentially disastrous ways.

That. or this is his idea of an April Fool's Day joke.

I got my Dawn event and I just did an hourly -- with my fists.

Ads are back on the main site, hourly battles are working again, if anyone cares.

Yeah, I was fixing various neglected stuff on "classic" today, but I didn't even realize that the hourly battles were broken/fixed. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
