This topic has officially turned into a clusterfuck.

That's next.... I am not at all happy about this, there is 'some' lolicon that I do like here. But, this is an example of censorship being taken WAY to far now, it's not Tenbaro's fault, so I'm not blaming him.

If I see any of the people that are claiming they're gone forever and have no use for this site wandering around ever again, I'm going to laugh my nearly non-existent dick off.

Because I know that if this situation resolves itself, they'll crawl back.

Hell, even if it doesn't resolve itself, the naysayers will return.

You know, your rants would be a whole lot more believable if I hadn't already dedicated my life to the fight against banning lolicon and shotacon. The difference between us is that I have enough faith in Tenboro to know that he is doing everything he can to try and stop this and that he didn't come to this decision lightly. I'm also educated enough to know that if he didn't do this right now, he could face the entire site being shut down in a matter of months. It's better to have loli and shota banned temporarily than have the whole site shut down permanently.

If you've dedicated your life to fighting against the banning of loli/shota, well guess what? You're already failing. Why? You're defending a person's decision to block/remove such content. Why on earth would a person who is supposedly dedicated to fighting censorship be so adamant to defend a defacto-ban on loli/shota content regardless of whether it's temporary or permanent?

You might be quick to think that if he didn't do this right now it would shut down in a matter of months, but you wouldn't know exactly how long it would happen yourself because you're not even helping him operate the site. Furthermore, you have absolutely no certainty as to whether this "temporary" ban you speak of is actually going to be temporary or not--For all we know, if nobody complains, if nobody offeres suggestions, he might lose motivation to seek a solution altogether.

You're using your "faith" in a person you don't even know (and went against your principles) as an excuse to outright abandon your skepticism, and ignore the validity of complaints from others who have been hurt by his decision.

Loath the advertisers and the religious nuts who did this, not the man for whom they conspired against.

Until you hold the people who SUBMIT to the advertisers and the religious nuts as accountable for their actions, you "free-speech" activists will get absolutely nowhere.

Too much optimism and faith is a bad thing. You have to lay down both sides of the argument to get a proper response. Ever heard of the newgrounds saying, "Everything, by everyone?" E-H acts the same way. I'm pretty sure people don't want their uploads deleted hence the complaints. If people weren't allowed to give their views (not rants or bitching), then you wouldn't have such a great website.

Its a free site so he could pin a giant blue ball for people to look at and offer no explanation and why not...its a free site, owner can do what he likes. The backlash is nothing but annoying and comes from people that would complain if you gave them a million dollars. Someone spell check/ grammar check me.


...and this is a 5 star run site, I do not know of any with this much content ran this well.

Try taking off your rose-colored glasses and getting off your high-horse first, asshat. His "free speech" was never being trampled on, he's choosing to limit it out of his own free will, and he is choosing to block galleries that have been posted by hundreds other users. Did he have a court order telling him to remove the content under penalty of law? Did someone come up to him with a gun telling him to get it off the site? No? Then it's HIS decision, and his decision only--Nobody said he had to stick to the same advertisers, and nobody said he couldn't have handled it any other way, so quit acting like some bleeding-heart sap with no backbone. As victimized as he is right now, all it's done is victimize even more people. You really think people would appreciate that?

You are obviously a simpleton, so let me explain this very simply too you. This site costs $46,000 a year to operate. Most of that is payed for by advertisers. Ergo, if the advertisers pull their funding, Tenboro won't be able to pay to keep the site running. Ergo, the site will shut down completely. Ergo, pulling loli/shota from the site keeps the site from being shut down.
