So they set up some filter on the main site that makes stuff posted with the "loli" or "shota" tag only visible on that site. I wonder what's going to happen when oblivious uploaders notice that their gallery won't show up?

I thought of that about 8 hours ago and took steps to deal with it. Wow, maybe some people ARE much smarter than you.

Yet for all the intelligence you possess over me, you fail to take into account the fact that this sort of lack of clarity or accessibility can drive away both uploaders and downloaders away and cause problems for the site, as well as make it a pain in the ass for those who are aware to change all the links that go to doujins/scanlations posted here on various blogs/forums. I had to change at least thirty links to content hosted here on various forums.

Umm... I think it's a given that the site has problems at this point. Tenb and the other admins are doing the best they can to work around them and figure something out. We're all angry and disappointed, but it's worth remembering who's on our side and who isn't here and trying to calm down a bit for now.

You also fail to take into account that there are no ads on that site. If he pushes all the traffic that way, it is the same as giving up all the ads and all the money they produce. God, you are a complete moron.

Came back the next morning to see if it posted and got the fjord message.
Went to the forum after giving up at picking at it.

I haven't seen that "bandwidth limit" message in a LONG time.
I think until this blows over, just reimplement that with a variation.
If you've donated at least $5 in the past 4 months, you're good, otherwise after X bandwidth, cut them for 1-2 hours.
This alleviates some server costs in both ways (Less usage via lurker and more donations if they want to be more than a lurker)

Will it make everyone join in? No. Will it solve all of our woe's? No. Is it a step towards keeping everyone happy? Definitely.

The cut off bandwidth was kind of nice regardless in that it kind of told you to go do something else for a while. (It only effected me on those 200-300 page H-Manga)

I can't give any ideas of advertisements since they seem to keep their ideals about as much as the next push over.

And yet for what little people pay to use this site, you fail to take into account all those uploaders who entrusted their hard-to-find collections to E-hentai by posting them here. They're risking losing their doujins/manga/CG sets by posting their stuff here. They may not pay money, but they're certainly paying by having their gallery lists emptied out and not being informed of where they're actually being hosted. They have good reason to do what you call "bitching".
