I had always wondered how this site kept running, considering the massive amount of bandwith it must consume. It's sad that a situation like this is what finally prompted me to find the answer. I suppose a donation is in order now. Not that I hope to restore the previous state of the site, though it would be nice, but that I now know that it is needed.

Although, I'm still a little confused about this whole matter and if someone could clear it up for me it would be appreciated. Was the content removed at the request of the hosts due to their subject matter or was it simply a means of making space to reduce bandwith?

The content was filtered due to statement by ad companies that they'll stop giving the stie ads and money otherwise. And they stopped anyway, afaik. But there are new companies and new ads.

is the site better off for "us" if they leave or is it worse? because we all know they cant all know what exactly is going or else even the fjords could be taken down.

Tenboro said that the site will be scaled to income/demand. I think that nothing (major) changes.

which manga site? and besides that article is so wrong it ain't even funny. lolicon is not illigal it is very vague because the art could be realistic or completely unrealistic
