If it still doesn't work, try changing your IP, that worked for me. If you also have problems with redirecting advrtisment, which make the site unusable, it's possible that some malware is responsible. In that case changing IP should also work, but you can also download and install some anti-malware like AdAware or Malewarebytes AFTER changing the IP (none of the anti-malewares I tried worked proberly before I changed it, some didn't really install, might have something to do with certain types of maleware, but I don't really know) and clean your PC

We tried that once, and anything I downloaded (we are pirates so ePSXe or VBA) had to be downloaded twice to get it on hers which meant less space, also my laptop is now experiencing a problem with the power cable, it keeps saying it can't identify it and it is running at half speed, so I really can't spare any space. And wtf is sudo?

You do realize that the folders marked "do not open" are generally the first to be opened.
