On a serious note, even loli/shota materials are removed from search, the original source still exists. Guess you have to look for them somewhere other than e-hentai? E-hentai is still an excellent database for doujins / h-cg sets, it's just a small sacrifice to keep this site alive.

Sacrifice to censorship is never small. It opens doors that should stay closed. And in this case it also brings a lot of collateral damage to unrelated content and galleries.

Almost all the galleries on the all-time top list have already been deleted, including the ones in the top positions. If they were that popular, someone must have liked them, despite what people in here are saying.

To sum it up, this means no more Kisaragi Gunma, no more Yamatogawa, and certainly no more Hanaharu Naruco. I mean, I understand the situation, but there must be a way around this.

The count of all galleries ever uploaded is now around 221,000, but nearly all of the missing ones were expunged for various reasons or deleted on request of copyright owner or as real child porn, or similar reasons. As Tenboro said in first post, not so many are missing.

Again, imho, the problem is not about the single loli/shota/bestiality ban. It's about the ABUSE of it...

It's too much leave at personal tagging: just one page, an older woman with some loli artwork or something else, and PUFF....your gallery is gone.

Losing your zero galleries, zero donations, and single post will be a sore blow.

For all the people who have all the answers: sure, if you can come up with about $5k a month to cover upkeep and the occasional new server, I don't have any problems telling the advertisers to shove it. If not, well, shove it. We could probably easily raise $5k in a donation drive. Doing it every month, consistently? Not gonna happen. You can piss and whine about censorship all you want, but the site doesn't run on rainbows and unicorns, our hosts only accept cold hard cash.

Another point in the story is that payment processors are for the most part even more squeamish than advertisers, so we wouldn't be able to put up any form of payment option with the lolis still in place.

Third point, moderators can see everything that goes away, and put it back. So there is no "abuse" that causes galleries that shouldn't be removed to go away.

Really ? There are the obvious repercussions to that... I guess this would be like paying full to have your ass snapped back into place, like $30k compared to a $12k bill with insurance.. at least that's the closest analogy I can think of, but then you came up with it.

The only problem with the "resonably of age" thing is that it's (likley) as defined by the advertisers, who have made they're predisposition toward this sort of content quite clear....

Those sites aren't billion-monthly-hits sites. It takes a lot of hardware to push that. And our advertisers "didn't care" as well, for several years, until we became big enough that idiots started pestering them.
