honestly, it's like putting an anime character on a ubisoft game.
however I think anime characters are much better than those who are poorly designed without attraction in the name of political correctness.

While the combat is simple, it gets a little depth with elemental reactions, with 3.0 and Dendro out that gets expanded a little further. It's a gacha game at the end of the day though so gameplay will be dependent on who you want to get if you want to roll at all.

I havent played it but from what i know about gacha games its probably massive P2W if you dont want to waste your whole life

If it wasn't a gacha, it would be pretty good. It starts pretty great, the gameplay is good and the graphics are cute. The characters are typical anime characters, you already know them, very boring but not more than average.

The problem is that it lacks a proper ending and as you progress the gatcha component gets more and more prominent. It starts asking more and more time to grind and less and less rewards, or more related to just luck. So at that point, either you make it your main source of entertaining, your abandon it.

I don't blame gatcha players, I play fire emblem heroes every day and that game makes me really angry twice a month. But if you have that space in your day to dedicate to a gatcha, it can be rewarding in the long run. Just try to not start giving it money. It turns very easily in the only way to really enjoy the game and at that point, the game is dead forever. You try to keep liking it by spending more and more money and you would be much better just buying a new one.

I started playing.
Grinding for wood without knowing if it will be useful (other items are less easy to grind for and/or have a more obvious use).

1 annoying thing is what happened while I was trying to explore what are apparently the limits of where I can go, and I had found a key place (probably):

What happened is that I got murdered by the fairy thing girl that accompany the main character.
She pushed me off a cliff, TWICE, and the 2nd time it killed my character.
Good thing there are other characters that can feed omelets to the dead, it resurrect them somehow (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

Damn fairy thingy.
I'd rather be in the hands of a goddess.

Genshin Impact is awesome. Been playing it a lot recently.

The main story is a bit cutscene heavy, but the areas you get to explore are consistently very high quality. The combat is also yet to get old for me too.

Imagine a group of otakus made a lot of money and put their anime-heart into this game.
You can find many netas and easter eggs from plenty of animes, video games and mangas. As hentai like us, I would say everybody will love this part of the game (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

It's pretty good. Artifact RNG sucks, but you only really need it for the optional endgame content, the rest of the game is very easy.

After playing, I'm getting more and more a strong feeling of deja vu.
Development should have started in 2017, and release not until 2021, yet I feel I experienced the game much earlier than that.
