Surprisingly good. The music is amazing, the art direction is endearing, and the core gameplay is satisfying enough. You can complete the core part of the game without spending a dime on the gacha stuff.

After a certain level it's turning into a farming simulator

The model quality of Genshin Impact is very good, unlike the politically correct face models in recent games.

Like The Last of US 2, Horizon 2, Dying Light 2.

I absolutely love it. After I beat Breath of the Wild, I wanted a similar game and a buddy recommended me Genshin Impact and I started playing it every day ever since February 2021. I just appreciate the fact that the game is all free with such high content and beautiful graphics and music and the lore is interesting. I also don't care if the game is too hard for F2P. I am pure F2P and I am doing pretty well in the game so far.

This is a very good game. The art design is distinctive and incorporates a variety of cultures. The important thing is that you can play it for free.

And the music is beautifully designed, it is designed by hoyomix.

I think the game is pretty good. Exploring Liyue (In game version of China) for the first time was amazing, especially clearing all the puzzles and hidden areas

I tried visiting [genshin.hoyoverse.com] https://genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/home but almost every button (besides "log in") brought me to an error 404.
I'm afraid after that if I got into the game I would get "404 enjoyment not found" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

It's so "good" that a lot of players of other games dispise genshin players in China.

fun for some time, but once you finish the story and 100% all areas, you will have a hard time staying for more
there's literally no end-game content beside farming artifacts, and it gets boring really fast (the shit RNG is not helping)
so now i just login, do daily commissions, use up resin (optional) and... wait, that's all

also, if you pay closer attention, the contents are all over the place
like the dev are rushing their works and just use whatever resource are available then forget it forever....
you will find a lot of mismatching weapon design/lore, underpowered skill, clumsy character, etc

don't believe people who said it got AAA tier quality, they don't know it well enough
it only look pretty on the outside, hiding an ugly inside

Not a bad games (except for the gatcha, it is pure gambling), but the gamer community is kinda toxic. I have seen tons of fanart artists was attacked by the gamer community. If you plan to play this game, stay away from IAP and the community.

It's a good casual game. Not something you can play all day due to how certain content is time gated.
