Okay, dark day, 5+0 set with infusions & scrolls used the whole way through, 1 horse on each, no gum/vase, no special elixir-only tactics. As mentioned in previous posts, 10.2% tower bonus. Also DD9.

DWD - 857 turns
PGC - 1,006 turns
SPL - 1,160 turns

Gear quality - I only have 2 radiants in this set (gloves + shoes), total arcane score of 54,787. I know there are at least 2 dark mages with better gear quality than this and DD9, who should be able to beat this time...

Practicing 1H DWD ready for Friday.

Wednesday: 2007 turns with peerless rapier
Thursday: 2002 turns with peerless shortsword

Both the same element, same infusion, very slightly different behaviour - rapier prepares SGs with 1 or 2 stacks of PA before Vital Strike, shortsword switches to completely untouched targets.

1H is so close to being faster without OFC than it is with it (or at least better to use it every 3rd round, instead of every 2nd). The 3-SG rounds take me about 30 turns to clear, and then I have 20 turns on the next round to let my OC build up ready to OFC... DW requires so much more careful OC control.

But 1H makes up for that in the earlier rounds, with OC management being harder there if you want to perma-stance (or close enough) and Vital Strike as often as possible, at least at my damage level since there's proportionately fewer attacks after each imperil stage.

Friday 1H runs. I decided to use shortsword for this because it performed pretty much exactly the same in testing, and it was slightly more mistake-tolerant than rapier (at my level of damage - YMMV).

I found that in SPL, the monster health is so high that it's slightly better to use OFC from earlier on, based on number of normal enemies rather than number of schoolgirls. I also recasted imperil more than I usually would, because 1H seems to do better with 100% coverage (whereas some styles are better with less recasts, like DW).

Also, I updated the records in the 2nd post in the thread. But they're a little threadbare because of the SG HP changes in PGC/SPL. Someone could grab some easy records there (for a short period of time (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif))

Was on the phone when doing DwD so I didn't even notice playing it but I got this one, which got messy towards the end as I got to the last round with no OC whatsoever and lost a lot of turns there. Might be able to get those turns back but this is the most I can muster right now. Guess I'll try again later whenever there's another power boost or big change in my setup.

I think sub-700 DWD is probably doable with 5+0. But I don't have radiant gloves at all, nor the materials to forge with at the moment... and since I don't play holy anymore, it wouldn't be a good investment for me.

Also: 5,323 turn fest (non-imperil, with infusions).

I got some new runs in with the new boss HP.

SPL: 1124

Same setup, still Sunday, standard tactics. 7xx DWD would definitely be possible with 5+0 instead of 3+2, but I'm not sure if it could go below 700 (without gum/vase, obviously).

On DWD and PGC, I would normally only recast imperil for schoolgirls, but on SPL it was better for me to have 100% coverage. Additionally, I would normally start using OFC after there's 3 SGs - which gives me just enough time to use it every other round - I can clear the round in between them fast enough that I don't waste cooldown time or have to spend extra time charging OC). However in SPL it was better for me to start using it against 2 SGs, although there I was only able to use it every 3-4 rounds, rather than every second round.
