I wish it was much more easy to get the special items (and to be able to get them through RE), even if the minimum quality of the reward had to be lowered in exchange (though I suspect the rewards can be extremely bad already).

I would not be surprised if a large percentage of the casual HV players spend the majority of their HV time doing REs. Having a special event like this encourages players to do some grinding in the other battle modes. I believe forcing us to occasionally get out of our comfort zone is a good thing.

That may be the intended effect while thinking of a single event.
Once you've repeated the process over and over again, suffering from that hopelessness of not having the slightest chance to complete a set unless using the black market (because that's really what the forums are), then you may pretty much give up on the whole thing, or at least give up earlier and earlier each event after having confirmed it's still as merciless as ever.

For casual players, it's a great opportunity to get free credits by buying a set, shrining it, and selling the trophies.

If you have the gear for successful grinding, this is the week you go berserk.

There is no downside. However much you play, you get the event artifacts in addition to everything else you normally would have got.

So long as you are free of self-imposed limitations which are not part of the event (such as: I must collect all the artifacts myself), it works fine as is. Personally, I love the wheeling & dealing.

Well, I've managed to get five in the last few hours. One's a dupe, though...

No luck with item world. ;_;

Finally! Wasn't sure I was going to get all the vaccines by the deadline.


That was one of the tougher Easter Hunts we've had IMHO. Red and Orange from the arena were easy peasy. I got both of them within an hour on the first day and grind fest wasn't too bad. I picked up all three colors by Friday night but it took me all weekend to find a green vial to complete the set.

Did you skip Easter 2019 when we had to get all ten gallery category buttons instead of the usual seven Easter artifacts? I believe that was the most difficult one that I participated in.

Not to mention that if you are in France, I suspect you have a decent max turns per second, and if you have a Catgirl aura, you could instead have bought one gold star plus 765 million credits worth of equipment, forging, hath perks, &c, the combination of which would be plenty to blow through the Easter event every year with ease.

Bought the last three, but done for the year. \o/

Wonder if I should scrape together another 2,000,000 credits and boost Archeologist to 9/10 just for next year (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif).

Archaeologist training may not matter.

As I recall, it's the same as artifacts with max archaeologist at each difficulty level (so it should be around 8.8 per 1000 rounds on PFUDOR), but don't quote me on that.

Yeah, I was a little put off by the amount of grinding we were going to have to put in for that one but I don't remember having so much trouble with the item world drops in that one.

Easter drops are unaffected by archaeologist training.

What about Scavenger?

Bought 3 sets, shrined two of them, and got five energy drinks out of the deal.

Now I get to have another set of trophies to keep in my inventory...

I barely did any IW runs. One day I advanced 7 levels on a peerless just to burn stamina.

I found out about the different vaccines just now lulz. Shrined all but no idea if I qualify. Plenty vaccines from arena and grindfest tho.

Vaccine drops in Item World at IWBTH difficulty seem to be ridiculously rare. Only got 1 vaccine in 5 runs. Is this a mistake? It seems too low especially since it is useful to do Item World at lower difficulties to get good potencies.

I ended up doing around 20 runs at both IWBTH and PFUDOR difficulties and got relatively few vaccines. The green and yellow vaccines seem be less available on the market this year as a whole.

Maybe the rate was just set very low in item world this year.

Can't verify, but it shouldn't do - the drop chance should be static.

Nah, just luck. The rates don't change, as far as I know.

The event has now finished. Everyone who handed in at least one full set of hoarded items were awarded a Vaccine Certificate (Tier 8 trophy). Additionally, and even if you didn't hand in a full set, you were also granted a Shrine Fortune (Tier 7 trophy) for every unique hoarded item you handed in.

Note that the Shrine Fortunes are not tradable, but the Vaccine Certificate is. This is intentional.
