Update: The database maintenance has been completed, and everything should be back up.

On January 20th (tomorrow as of this writing), starting at around 08:00 UTC, various things will be shut down for maintenance in order to switch over to a new set of database servers. The downtime for most things is expected to be fairly short, but as this is fairly complex, I'm setting a two hour maintenance window in case it hits any snags.
The forums, HV, and various gallery functionality will be unavailable during the switchover.
Galleries itself should remain partially available in read-only mode, and the tracker as well as the wiki should not be affected.
Gallery uploading will be disabled about half an hour before the actual maintenance, and if any uploads are still pending when the maintenance starts, they will be aborted.
