How did Boggy Gibb get on that poll anyways?

I committed the one unpardonable sin.

But they made it seem like I was doin' alright at the start(well some did anyway), ah well you know what they say, "the nail that stands up is usually the one that gets hammered down".......sigh.

That's how they do it, brother man, they make you feel comfortable with posting your deepest thoughts, then once you place yourself in a vulnerable position, they tear you apart with harsh words and insults until your huddled up in the corner bawling your eyes out...... or maybe that was just me?

Q: Why it is 67th? Since I never saw the 66th or 65th.

I think that was Red's play on the somehow still-going oscars.

No, that is most certainly a contradiction.

Or are you somehow suggesting that being a member of this forum voids you of the notion that anything you ever say is hypocritical? If that's the case; would someone mind pointing out where it says that in E-Hentai's Terms and Conditions?

Remember; this is very relevant to kage's interests! Make haste people!

You I like, Katamari Datenshi. Sometimes you're a bit too serious, but not in a sense where I don't find myself snickering at something in your posts.

It seems you didn't understand what he said, so - as far as I understand it, he means that he stopped watching Oscars because he doesn't care which actors win what, feeling they're not relevant to his life. However, he's interested in the outcome of this topic, because he feels it's relevant to his life, him being a member here.

Making unrelated parts of the sentence emphasized in bold font style doesn't change the sentence's meaning, although it might appear to do so to some. To explain in simple sentences, first, he means that his previous statement is not a contradiction (I agree with that), and second, he provides additional explanation as to its meaning (apparently the difference is him having the chance of winning here, but not at the Oscars ceremony).

What he said was without a doubt a contradiction; to claim otherwise you would have to twist the meanings of his words very far.

First he states 'the irrelevancy of such interests' and that he believes it 'bears little relevance the lives of himself and others.' See below.

QUOTE(kagekaromamoru @ Mar 6 2010, 20:23) *

why do people seriously care about which actor won what... its not really relevant to our lives

He then goes on to say that he himself is looking forward to the results. Again, see below.

QUOTE(kagekaromamoru @ Mar 6 2010, 20:23) *

i am excited to see who wins this though

That is; by all meanings of the word; a contradiction. It seem that it is you, not I, who fails to understand what he has said. The only way any ration person could come to the conclusion that his statements were not contradictory; is to claim him almost completely hopeless in the written aspect of the English language. Therefore he is either incompetent; having phrased his replies highly incorrectly; or is a hypocrite.

To be honest I don't care; either conclusion suits me fine. What does surprise me is your belief that you can somehow ignore the obvious hypocrisy of his statements by providing an explanation that makes far less sense; all the while doing so without any evidence to prove your claim.

QUOTE(Rob Itagaki @ Mar 6 2010, 23:35) *

In future perhaps I should just do that; much less hassle that way.
