Same happens to me, would it be possible for an option button to either display the galleries in the old format (png,jpg) or the new Webp formats?

At least say your OS/browser... But I assume it's iPad cuz old Android tablets would support it.
You can try some third party apps like [github.com] Eros-FE and [github.com] JHenTai (Disclaimer: I didn't test those) that have WebP support.

So I'm a mobile (ios) user and for almost 10 years, I have been using the manga loader script from sleazyfork where it let me view all images in 1 page, but it stopped working a few days ago. I wonder if it's a bug or it's related to the new update that stop it from working. Sorry I'm a noob.

What model is it, iPhone 6? WebP support was added in iOS 14, and the oldest model that can update to it is iPhone 6s.
For older models, you can try third-party apps, as mentioned above. I think the minimum iOS version for Flutter is iOS 12.

It is not possible to embed .webp into forum comments. Uploading as attachment and adding the image into the post works, but embed into the post doesn't work.

It is not possible to embed .webp into forum comments. Uploading as attachment and adding the image into the post works, but embed into the post doesn't work.

Doesn't look fixable since, ironically, the software stack on the forum server can't seem to handle webp. Then again, due to legacy support issues it is running on old LTS, with a kernel from 2013 and a decade of patches piled on top of it, so what do you expect.

It's called manga loader nsfw from sleazyfork. I just tested and realized the script is still working on e-hentai but not ex.

It's sad after using your site for 15+ years, I can't really open any of the downloaded files because of the .webp format.

Hopefully you can consider to make this as an option, because I'm certain that many of us are still using either 1) older OS version or 2) older browser that doesn't really support .webp.

Given the incredible amount of work that Tenb has put in to making these upgrades, I seriously doubt he's going to undo all of it for a handful of overly vocal people that refuse to upgrade. Stop using hardware and software that's old enough to fucking drive for fuck's sake.

For example, my office laptop is running on Windows 10, by default it can't open 50% of the .webp images properly. Even with the work around of using Windows' Webp Codec, the .webp images have weird contract issue.

It requires generating another set of resamples for like 0.1% of the users and totally defeats the purpose.

many people have issue with .webp images not loading properly / contract issue / etc, not only on Windows 10 but also on many different devices.

Actually I hope Tenboro will let the statistics & data speak for themselves later on.

Anyway I rest my case, guess I'll have to use my gaming rig to download stuff for the time being (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

It seems the Microsoft WebP Extension may cause images to be darker in the legacy photo viewer, the solution is to uninstall that and install Google's WebP Codec (instructions in that post).
