I don't think i've ever seen this before until today. It appears the hath server fails to serve the file the first time. Is this intended behavior?

It's an automatic retry that happens when it fails to load an image from the H@H node in question. Most likely the node went offline during the switchover, and the webcluster didn't get notified since things weren't fully linked up yet, but let me know if you still see a lot of those after the end of today.

I'm fairly confident that I used to be able to use "3d" as a search term to find galleries tagged as such until recently. Now I cannot, e.g. the search english 3d gives me 0 results: https://e-hentai.org/?f_search=english+3d
I have to use 3d$ or tag:3d or other tricks to make it work.

Hm, right. 3d was an exception to the rule, and there was a new safety check added to prevent queries that somehow made it past the other checks, but it didn't use the exception list. Should be searchable again now.

since the quota update i now have 10k viewing limit
it said you get the more pages hath perk there

does this mean i have the perk now and cant purchase it anymore?

or can i buy the hath perk(more pages) still and then get 20k instead


other then that the limit only being displayed in home is kinda annoying

you don't have to buy all the levels at once, you can gradually buy further upgrades.

Yes. You can only buy each perk once.

That 10k quota you unlock by paying 20k GP will only last for 24 hours.
You can get permanent 10k quota by buying the More Pages hath perk.

That 10k quota you unlock by paying 20k GP will only last for 24 hours.

There's a small working-as-intended "exploit" here though. If you reset your quota before your token expires, it will also reset the timer. So if you didn't actually spend the quota, you can extend it for cheaper.

There's a limit no matter what, you just don't see it if it's not tied to your dedicated (account or token) quota. Mostly because of all the people who came in thinking their account was hacked because the number was increasing even if they weren't doing anything. But yeah, there's no real reason to get the perk if you're not hitting the limit anyway.

Gotcha. I hit it quite often, I just haven't today.

I spent the 20kGP just out of curiosity and looks like it got me 10,000 whatever units. Didn't you use to get 5,000 under the old "pay 5kGP to reset" system? Has the gallery points to megabytes conversion rate been affected by this change?

Pretty sure it didn't change, it was 2 GP per whatever unit before and it should be the same now no matter what mode you are in. Only difference I'm aware of is it now caps the cost to your quota limit, so even if you go above the 10k whatever units limit, it wouldn't go above 20kGP cost to reset it.

I have 3 search tabs constantly open, and when I reload them after some usually the timestamps of new results are printed bold. The last few days (not sure, when exactly it started) the bold timestamps don't happen anymore for me..

The cutoff for when quotas can be used on archives is now one year after the gallery was posted (increased from 30 days), matching the cutoff for the H@H downloader.

Yep. (The new archivers have ~220 TB of combined space, up from ~50TB on the old ones, so archives can be cached for a long time.)
