QUOTE(jadoeman @ Aug 13 2023, 02:00) (Maybe throw together a greasemonkey script or something; parse the post date and check the local time, and if it looks like it would cost, then... I dunno, recolor the gallery title text as red or something dumb. Dunno.)
Yeah you could probably make a tampermonkey script that does all of this for you, it probably wouldn't be too hard either. I doubt anyone else will make it for you, as those users are usually unaffected by this change, having contributed to the site in ways that will give them enough credits/gp to download images. Thus making the script useless for themselves. This post has been edited by Cipher-kun: Aug 13 2023, 04:23

Yeah, that's what I meant. My JS skills are pretty garbage but functional enough to do something of this level. Already did something similar before; blink the one area in red if "size of gallery / gallery page count" is over some threshold, so I don't neglect to notice that each page is like 100M or something silly. This wouldn't be far off from that. Mostly just noting it on principle; would be nice to know what the consequences of clicking a button are prior to clicking it, or failing that at least after clicking it. As it stands either I have to do timezone/post date math in my head, or refresh the credits page afterwards to see if the numbers changed. Neither of which are particularly fun. ...Doubt a site change (even a simple one like the settings thingie) would happen for a dumb use case like this. But hey, technically nonzero chance of it happening upon asking, right? Which is better than the literal zero chance of it happening without asking.

Feature request: The Tag History would be far more useful if it could show you which tags were deemed inaccurate. The system already has that information, it just needs to display it. I'd rather not use a userscript which depends on localstorage, because my browsers tend to nuke localstorage regularly or not have it enabled at all so it can't be used to set tracking cookies.

yea it says QUOTE Showing the last 1000 of 10890 recent tags: for me, any reason i can't see multiple pages? Also that would indeed be a nice feature to have, to know where you got something wrong, or where your tags where wrongfully killed. This post has been edited by -terry-: Aug 28 2023, 06:22

Hello, is it no longer possible to earn GP from H@H? Since the exchange price of Hath Perks has been significantly increased, I feel like there is no way to reserve enough Hath. I originally planned to sell GP for Hath, but I found that my GP Already 0 growth

H@H still provides GP based on your hits, nothing has changed there. However, the recent introduction of priority ranges might mean you now get significantly fewer hits, and therefore earn much less GP than before.

I have observed these two weeks, and my hitrate has dropped from a total of about 2/min to a total of 1.1/min (0.5+0.6), but when I click on the Overview tab, my Total GP Gained has completely increased by 0. Of the total 194 Static Ranges, I was basically only given P5, 2 for P4, and 2 for P3. This frustrates me like it's a complete waste of time and can never unlock items in Hath Perks

You cleared your static ranges on August 28th. It'll take time to regain them. And it'll take a lot longer if you keep restarting your clients.

Someone asked me privately about the reward rate for Adopt-a-Server slots, and I figured I'd share the math for why the GP/hit rate was recently increased from 50/minute to 60/minute, in case someone is interested. QUOTE It's been a while since I re-evaluated the Adopt-a-Server rewards, so I took a closer look at it. It's probably fairest to use Asia as the reference region - the average hitrate for a client running there is 91 hits/minute and the average range count is 1051, with an average disk size of 378 GB. This works out to roughly 25.16 Hath/day (1 base + 13.65 from hitrate + 10.51 from ranges), as well as ~130,768 GP per day.
However you're probably not going to find a reasonable quality server with a 378 GB disk space for $10/month. But after a quick look at some VPS providers for this price range, I would say you can probably get a 50 GB VPS with good quality for that price. For clients in Asia with between 40 and 60 GB disk space, the average hitrate is ~59.54/minute and the average range count is ~189.64. Which would result in a hath rate of ~11.82, or ~3.18 hath/month less than you get from a base price Adopt-a-Server slot.
If you look at GP, 40-60GB Asia H@H clients would also get on average ~85,734 GP/day, while the Adopt-a-Server slots would get 72,000 GP/day, which works out to ~1.48 hath/day deficit. So Adopt-a-Server slots are still slightly better off, but it's probably fair to tweak the GP/hit rate from Adopt-a-Server slots to match these reference clients. As such, it has now been changed from 50/minute to 60/minute (86,400/day).

So if I'm following you right: QUOTE For each month paid users receive the following per slot per day:
> ~15 Hath > ~72,000 GP > Work done by a server slot (a hitrate of 60/min) counts towards the adopter's H@H toplist position, and mod power calculation > Each active slot also grants 7 GB of free archive quota per week. https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Adopt-A-ServerChanges look correct? Mostly wanna confirm if the Hath reward remains unchanged or not.

That's the old GP value, the new GP value would be 86,400/day. The hitrate of 60/min gives GP just as if it were a H@H client. The hath rate did not change. (Also clarified the math dump a bit.)

Huh. Seeing the numbers, do I misinterpret these or do I not understand the (toplist) calculation or do some people just pay several hundreds Dollar for servers? Because, I paid for one adopt-a-server slot which is running since a year or so. My Hentai@Home points: Yesterday: 720 Last month: 21,586 Meanwhile several people on the toplist last month have over 1,000,000 points, two users even has over 3,000,000 points. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) But if I understand the numbers Tenboro posted correctly, then users with adopt-a-server slots get the average rewards (GP and Hath) as the H@H users. So I assume that H@H users get more toplist points? Not that I really care about the toplist points. I am just wondering if I misunderstood the numbers and it's more worth to pay for a VPS server than to pay for a adopt-a-server slot, to gain way more GP and Hath.

A lot of top players just run their clients in mainland China, which is a stupidly high-demand region with not nearly enough clients to support it. The supply remains low mainly because of legislative and GFW reasons.

The toplist points are just the hits divided by 100 because large numbers. You were getting credited with 72000 hits per day, or 720 toplist points. Now you are getting credited with 86400 hits per day, or 864 toplist points.

Mh, yeah, I get that. I was just surprised/overwhelmed by the high numbers of other users which have around 3,000,000 toplist points in the last month (total hits of whopping 300,000,000 per month) while I and other users have 21,673 toplist points (or 2,167,300 hits per month). This is why I wondered if people with H@H clients just get more toplist points while the actual hits are actually lower. But if they don't get more toplist points, that means that some people either pay hundreds Dollar for several VPS servers to get so many hits or they are just "lucky" enough for having the ability to host servers in high demand regions like China as Agoraphobia suggested. I mean with 300 millions hits the user is rewarded with 300 millions GP which then can be sold for around 90 millions Credits. Now I feel poor. Well no, the guy who is at the monthly top just has a client with an average hitrate of 8286. So yeah, 150 slots sounds about right before the tweak.
