As an occasional lurker over the years who mostly only plays the game here and there, I didn't know him. I wouldn't even know he existed if it weren't for Monsterbation showing monster owner names. But it's clear he was a big part of this site and commanded respect even from people who didn't like or disagreed with him. My condolences to all whose lives he touched. One loss diminishes us all.

I can't claim any big connection like many people, yet even so his was a name instantly recognizable even to someone who found this little corner of the internet late like me.
