Figured out why the 528i was being a chicktopus. Either rubber boot/hose that ties the MAF, throttle body, and misc together was shredded. FCP Euro had some quality ones, and their fastest shipping, was only $10 than amazon. For better parts, two days sooner. Thanks ##cars on freenode.
A tesla is just a giant iphone basically. Of course they can't allow you to repair it. Buy a new one, its more of a subscription service than product ownership.
Replaced my door cards and speakers. The previous owner had gored them badly to fit oversized (6") JBL's in them.
I think I'll try to sell the JBL's on ebay; four 6" two-way speakers and a 10 or 12" woofer/amp that he put in the back which I immediately removed when I bought the car.
The new door cards are from the '80s and look better than the originals ever did, IMO. I just need to put the lower map pockets back on now. The speakers I put in are hidden behind the factory original grilles. The new speakers are the 4" two-way Alpines that I used in my 244 (sedan) before I had this car; the lows are nothing to write home about but they're good enough, and the highs are great.
I need to clean my seats, since I removed the upholstery to add seat heaters while on a garage floor.
There was one cut in the passenger side front door which I had to stitch together and paint over with india ink. It's not too bad in real life but definitely visible on my new phone's camera.

Friend of mine wrecked his corolla; I helped him find and order parts and helped replace his hood, passenger fender, and bumper so that it wouldn't get towed. Now he's got the parts to (hopefully) get it in a driveable state; we're going to have to hammer out the radiator support or replace it, though, since it's bent up pretty bad and welded down (I don't trust my welding abilities, and I haven't got the equipment to cut the old one out either). Also going to have to replace the radiator, AC condenser, and fan. Not looking forward to it, since there's also a couple really rusted POS screws that we're gonna have to drill out. I like Japanese cars, but they rust so goddamn fast. His is from 2008 and my '93 volvo looks significantly cleaner, rust-wise.

That truck was yellow before it accidently, wasn't it?
I believe so. Drove my car today; way less rumbling. I suspect it might actually be okay and it was maybe just rumbling the other day because it was sub-zero (°F) cold or something, I guess. It still shifts like garbage, but I'm almost used to that at this point.
I'm glad, because I last did the tie rods not even a full year ago.
