HV lacks Challenge right now so I suggest the following:
Add more A LOT difficulty Settings above PFUDOR! Let the casual fags whine all they want it does not matter at all if we can't play the highest settings at all. It is just a goal we will eventually reach!
Then add a Bonus to Drops. No silly Quality Bonus but it will have a Chance to exceed even 'normal' Peerless Tier Stats. Said Bonus will increase with every Difficulty Setting above PFUDOR so you will gt real Rewards for working your way up.
To not make some strong players control the Market everything with above Peerless Stats will be Bind on Account.
Also Crystal Drops and everything else will stay at PFUDOR level so this Settings will stay just for Challenge and collecting epic gear.
Some of these ideas are ones I have thought about too, to try and make HV challenging for highest-level players and somewhat fair to remainder of community.
More difficulty settings...or arenas with different mob compositions...is great. It should satisfy a lot of player's needs for harder challenges. But the rewards for doing so, that's way tougher. Everyone these days seems to want more equitable rewards for what they do, but since everyone has also traded up their gear from cast-offs of others, the chance of a drop making someone happy is extremely low these days. Source of much frustration.
Making an Equipment level better than current Peerless? That's one of the big challenges Tenboro faces, but maybe combining that with bind on account is a reasonable direction. I used to wonder about removing moogling of gear entirely as a possible solution but it seemed too disruptive. What about gear with a defined lifespan, like 365 days? Or even 31 days? Who knows...
I'd be interested to hear what Tenboro would do now if it could all be started over again, fresh. Maybe there's a way to accommodate it... HV apocolype anyone?
