It might be a good idea to make the Drain Augment Ability Slot un-unlockable until one can actually use it (i.e. lvl 150). Same goes for the Protection Augment Ability Slot before lvl 10. Before that, they're just a waste of Mastery Points.
Yes, we'll be able to reset them soon(ish), but that might cost stuff, and they really don't need to be unlockable anyway.

Of course, alternatively, a use for them at lvl 0 could be introduced, though I can't imagine what that'd be.

With Niten, the main key to survival is to take the mobs out with BW, right? As for Club/Rapier DW, it's stun and spam.

It's already troublesome with ten mobs, but I can't help but think that increasing mobs in exchange for shorter arenas may be crazy enough to work.
As for buffing attack strength in exchange for defense, why not? Things that already hit like trucks will murder everything if you can't hit them in time (which on PFUDOR, is not too uncommon).

- Oh, and I miss the seeker in Heartseeker so much. Imagine if we had accuracy bonuses again for HS and AF, and the respective counter-parry and counter-resist.

- Maybe we could get two handed weapons that naturally have counter-parry, seeing how:
DW has a parry boost and
OH with shield has Block, Counter and Overstrikes.
TH could do with counter-parry to complement Domino.
Mages already nuke the place, so I can't think of anything beneficial for mages.

How about change the Ripened soul into something like execution?

Instant kill the mob with the Ripened soul state when mob's HP is low than 20% , no working for Boss of course. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Make it cooler and different from burning soul. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Would be nice if infusions in battle have the same effect as using them in the forge. Maybe with shorter duration. Cause it's a bit useless to melee atm.

I mean keep the staus there, but no damage, only mob HP below the excution line it will work.
Thus it doesn't affect the spirit darining. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I mean make it no apply for boss intentionally for balance.

The detail number can be modified, if too op just reduce the excution line for the balance.

Bleeding feels very underwhelming right now, especially on swords. I can literally deal more than 10 times additional dmg using Rapier than Shortsword.

I would say Holy is better than Dark because of Breached Defense. Not to mention better cure and longer lasting regen/arcane focus/whatever other buffs.

I also think GC is right about melees switching to mage (price of HG metal/leather going down). I think heavy should get some kind of counter-parry buff. Light already has better overall defense and attack speed.

Mostly this. It's a case of people spending a lot and getting less (read: nothing) for how much they spent. Which is exactly how the lottery works.
I consider it merciful that even 50% of the GP gets split to the four runner ups. It very easily could've been just one winner.

We have breached defense and better cure, yes, but not longer lasting buffs. That's a misconception.

Meanwhile, dark have 10% damage reduction which, when you have enough damage, becomes "better" IMO. 10% damage reduction applies right after proc, while for Breached Defense you'll have to wait until you cast another offensive spell to get the benefit.

Also, dark has the only way to regen SP. In fact, I never use drain unless I'm doing marathons, lol.

Tbh, since I am nearly maxed out in damage potential as a holy mage, I'd have to say that Breached Defense's usefulness diminishes greatly. On tough monsters it doesn't really help a lot since I already imperil those, and on weak monsters that need >1 cast, it's also not very useful as most of the time it doesn't help me reduce the number of casts to kill the mob.

Inflation on GP doesn't necessary mean it's bad. In fact, inflation is an indicator for growing economy. I personally would like to see an equipment sink while increasing the chances of drops. So that godly gears will be very hard to obtain while decent gears easily. This will also cut down the deficit between poor and rich. Also these equips will get outdated in the future like it was before. If the rich takes all the tickets, it means that the poor would get more income from selling GP.

Another thing I want to point out is when grand prize is something salvage worthy, there's no point holding a lottery on that day as it's just a redistribution of tickets, which is a real disappointment. So extending the prizes to 3 at least will increase the chance of something being useful come out of it and will have people something to look forward to. Another thing I want to point out is the imbalance between weapon/gear drop rate. Should we assume the information on wiki is correct, there are more weapons dropped per slot than gears.
