Could you please fix the spelling and naming errors on the abilities page?

"Pestilence" is misspelled as "Pestillence"
"Arcane Focus" is misnamed as "Arcane Meditation"
"Chain Lightning" is misnamed as "Column Lightning"

This has been bugged since these abilities were created, and it should be trivially easy to fix.

I'm sorry if someone posted this idea already. It is about the monsters; I think it would be great that if a monster you created is among your enemies on a round it turns around the other monsters; you made it, you give it crystals and spend time on it, so he recognises you as your master and takes your side on the fight, hurting the other monsters instead of you.
Of course, I don't know how difficult it would be to implement it, it's just a crazy idea I had.

Enchant weapon or spellsword ability that lets you use magic rating for physical attacks or adds bonus magic damage based on your MR (a la Light Weapon of Demon's Souls / Arcane Warrior of Dragon Age / any RPG with a spellsword

You know, you can stop increasing INT/WIS, and raise the other stats, it's not like you're at l300+

I'd like the Idea that the spells, that no one uses...
Flame Spikes
Frost Spikes
Lightning Spikes
Storm Spikes
Would imbue your melee weapon with that element. (and still get used by no one)

But if Cloak of the Fallen was available for autocasting, I might use it.

Cancel all spike shield because no one use it.

and add ability that infuses elemental rating.

for example in replacement of flame spike add ability Flame tornado which increase Fire rating depend upon your Supportivity magic proficiency.

I would like that Regen III right about now. The 50% damage from agitated monsters is making BT IW nearly impossible for 300+ rounds.

Couple alternte suggestions for spark/cloak of the fallen

1-2 turn invincibility as frequently mentioned in the patch thread

90% damage reduction for 1/2/3/4/5 turns based on points invested in spark

tapering damage reduction after trigger. 100/90/80/70/60 % on the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/ turn

creates a barrier that absorbs X% of your max health after triggering. Lasts 1/2/3/4/5 turns and absorbs 100/200/300/400/500% (or 50/100/150/200/250 or whatever) of your max health in damage based on points invested in spark and/or supportive prof. If the barrier cumulatively absorbs the damage up to X it is canceled immediately, but otherwise lasts the specified duration and then disappears.

any other ideas?

Jeez... I take a break from HV for Spring Break while on vacation and come back to find that I'm having serious problems playing now T_T All of the following is from my experience playing on Normal difficulty as well...

Problems I've noticed so far from a lowbie's POV:
* Running through a lvl 50 IW now requires a full load of items to complete.. before update I only needed 2-3.
* New "Agitated" monster system is quite painful for me as I have only trained 2H >_<;; Regular monsters are hitting harder than uncommon ones before. The new system makes 2H dangerous to use since the AOE can reduce many monsters to agitated status at the same time causing instant death.
* HP/MP gem droprates haven't changed > the loss of SW increases the number of items used > keeping gear leveled for use through IW is even more of a pain/expense than it was before.

A few suggestions for fixing these problems for lower level players (which I am so I have no ideas about higher level combat issues):
* Monster level cap limited to IW's level instead of player level if PL is higher than item's. This might ease the pain of raising items to player's level.
* Increase drop rates of HP/MP gems + lower/remove elemental gems (or change them to something that has a larger impact on combat regardless of player's combat style.)
* Increase drop rates of HP/MP potions and/or alter drop rates so that they are affected by player level (ie: higher level player = higher drop rate for higher quality potions and lower rate for lower quality ones.)

Can we remove the 4 kinds of useless elemental shield gems?

We can have a lower gem drop rate.

I prefer 4 kinds useful 2.5% than 8 kinds shit+useful 5%.
It's really annoying cost turns to abandon these shit gems. The recovery rate will be same.

People dislike the current elemental gems because they provide extremely weak effects. But short duration elemental infusion gems would be great!

They're useful for melee since infusions convert their damage into elem damage, dramatically improving it against most monsters. And it's great for mages since they will usually improve a class of magic they don't often use, making it actually worth casting, thus making the game less monotonous.

This one is good too.

Just change gem effect from "shield" to "infusions"...Everybody will love it.

Change Shield & Barrier from absorbing an amount of damage to a %. And have it take effect before spirit shield.

With +300 proficiency I only get this and when monsters do 5-10k damage they don't help much.
Shield only absorbs 93.9
Barrier only absorbs 219.1
