Now that Bug Abuser where punished I suggest a change to IWing.

Now it will take 25! times longer to gain a potency but in Exchange you can chose what to train.
With this it will be a fuckload of work but you don't have to be extra lucky!
Armors and Shield will just take 10 times longer.

Seriously, I've had the perk since 2008. Black/White/Rainbow functions have changed 2-3 times since then. Heck, they aren't even called that anymore, so my point exactly.

Drain spells, up on being cast on a mob with Ripened Soul/Soul Fire and the correct theft ability, should remove the proc and not have Vitality Drain on the mob.

Nah. It's the same issue as with Ether Theft back then. Mobs die too fast and you get basically 0 of the benefit.

Or change drain mechanic so that up on cast it drains 1/2 of the 5 turn duration instantly?

Add a forge upgrade slot for counter-resist; something like Binding of Overpowering or something. Then Oak and Willow might be used more? or is that too OP?

cloth: 0.5% frugality max each piece
light: lower burden on non-ethereal weapons
heavy: anti-parry (skillchip)

or:

cloth: frugality
light: more attack speed
heavy: lower burden on non-ethereal weapons

Boost what is already good on each respective armor, or give a bit of the advantages of one armor type to another? don't know about cloth though....

What about a physical attack Absorb? Something that only absorbs a monster's skill attack and not regular attacks. The mana cost would make it hard for melees to use too often, but mages could greatly benefit from it. Maybe an attack that does more that 25% damage has a chance of being absorbed and channeled into Spirit Points.

How about in addition to IW, GF, Arenas, RoB, is another battlefield.

Anyone remember those old books 'Create your own adventure?,' or the internet back in the day when you could call in to bulletin boards and play RPGs text style?

A new HV game could be a random adventure where you can explore little villages, slopes of mount doom, etc, where random monsters await. But they should be buffed 50x, with rewards reflective of extreme difficulty. If you complete the adventure, whatever it may be, you will find some prizes; for example some credits, sack of artifacts, pile of crystals, noodly appendages, hg/mg mats, or even just crap monster chow. For those days you don't want to grind endlessly.

So in the arena we kind of challenge the doppleganger of players (AI-controlled), expect to have difficult

battle since all the status and equipment is calculated.

The deeper the levels, the higher the difficulty, and the drop might include the equipment replica of said monster with very low chance like 0.01% with the same base stats.(not including the additional upgrades).
