I would like to suggest al melee/mage to only comment on the style they play.

Please allow melee to have skills such as "double strike" that lets them attack twice but having no cost other than forcing a certain real-time delay(or it could have a cooldown, just to prevent people with good ping from abusing it) That way the poor people who were forced to change to melee from mage despite having crap ping can play on semi equal ground.

So this one is for everyone.

Are you sick and tired of those dead horses getting in the way of your greatness? They just lay there, preventing you from hitting all the targets you truly want to. And sometimes they make things super awkward depending on where they fall (anyone remember Diablo and monsters dying in doors so they cant be closed?)

Well the current problem here is that the monsters that die cause all sorts of targeting issues, for 2H, DW, Niten, and Mage. Look at the previous posts! Below is a good example.

Sure DW, 2H, and Niten have had to deal with this since the dawn of time, and it didn't hurt them too much, they have the issue with the main mob parrying and ruining the whole entire attack (this itself would not be a bad thing to fix while we are at it), and in previous patches skills were able to hit all mobs, but now are greatly limited, which took a lot of shine off of using those skills. If dead mobs were passed over or ignored then skills would once again be a strategic option and there would be less 7-10 split situations where you just get angry at the world.

Now that Mage has limited AoE you introduced some nice little targeting things that don't seem to work 100% yet. Like what Rei-Tenshi and a few others pointed out it has some issues in the logic involving the top and bottom monsters and how it works on one end but not the other. Why not throw both sides a bone and have the dead monsters drop out of the equation. This right here will solve some of the Mage Rage, and allow melee to have something new to play with.

Isn't the combination of Featherweights + Voidseeker's exactly that, a time-bound limited Ethereal weapon?

Though it would be nice if Voidseeker's would drop on Normal to help scrubs.

For monsters with a PL over 2075, every time they gain a level, have a chance to give the trainer the option to let the monster retire and leave the game. If they gain several levels in one upgrade, you get the same number of rolls as when gaining one level at a time. However, the exact chance per level is not disclosed.

The hungrier a monster has been since patch 0.76, the less willing she is to retire.

I'm thinking about the Final Fantasy VI system where you can choose either an AoE or single target version of a damaging spell, with a 30% damage bonus on a single target.

I do wonder if these "high damage single target spells" could be tier 2/3 weapon skills...

A monster shop where you can purchase monster food or gifts to up their morale, recipe books with ingredients to make more specialised food that could replenish both morale and hunger, special additives for the food that will give a bonus point to the monster, armors for monsters. You could even purchase monsters, if you have enough monster slots open.

Paths for monsters above a certain PL, like the ability system, which once bought into (probably with a prohibitive number of chaos tokens) turns them into minibosses, with all that entails.

I was thinking it would include a death proc slot (holding a range of choices, like casting cure/regen/protection all surviving monsters, dropping a selectable debuff on the player like imperil or weaken, or maybe just a nuke of choice), slots for equipment you could give them (that has to stay in your inventory), slots for ability-type thingies (like reduced mana consumption, being able to inflict an elemental/dark/holy proc, boosts to damage or accuracy or crit, or something like that), and whatnot.

They should all drop trophies. Considering what happened to artifacts, signed or personalized trophies would be asking a little much. A generic trophy might be called for in this case (specific to player-run monsters, and on par with manbearpig tails).

The slots should be unlocked with a (high) investiture of chaos tokens, and changable only by paying a chaos token into them.
