The new upgrade of the monster is quite tough for new players like me.

I can't battle for crystals and food to maintain the monsters. (But I already waste quite a lot of cc to feed them over the past few months...)

I kinda like the old version, overall the new upgrades are cool, but for new gamers like me, it just can't benefit us much...

I suggest bringing back the equip level back to the more beginning stage, where players can buy high level equip from old players to help them win in battles which make it easier for them to level up and earn their way to battle for more better goods.

In the recent upgrades, it's starting to make that gap even bigger, we just can't find the way to overcome the difficulties (The Arena, used to be a way for new players to earn cc, but the stages just increase a bit too much

Examples:
The Arena
lv 1 ->1 round to lv1 ->5 rounds, but no increase in cc, and better drop rate of goods...

The Grindfest
No cc, the item drop rate is very low. In the past, I can still drop a few items, like potions. Unfortunately, I don’t see a drop of goods in the first few rounds, even I battles in the mode of X4… My stocks of potions can’t refill if I battle in higher difficulty levels.

Spells
The cool down arrangements just kill us. I used to cast cure to help recover my HP, but now I can’t do that anymore. Furthermore, the limits of battle items reduce in big scale. I can only have 3 items, with the cooling down in spells, it’s really impossible for new players to play the game.

I mean the matches end not because I can't fight, it's because I can no longer fight like it used to be...
In the past, it’s okay. I enjoy playing the games 2~3 hours a day in different difficulty levels to earn items and exp. But now, I just can’t do that anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Hey you forgot the range of our special attack ( for melee ), it's now stuck to 3 monsters above/below or even

2/1 monster above/below for lower proficiency player.

It used to blast to all the monsters with 'sufficient' and the damage is 'evenly distributed' now it's limited.

Example : Skyward Sword/Frenzied Blows

For very high-leveled player it doesn't really affect much I think.

Ring of Blood back to Level 100 please.

I trained myself very hard in order to be capable to avoid being K.O in it, but I can't battle them as their requirements change into higher level.

Credits back in Grindfest, it’s hard to earn credits nowadays.

Please more foods in battles, I can’t feed my babies, I am running out of Milk.

Better drop rates in pills is suggested. I can’t get 1 even I play in battlestords. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

On to an actual suggestion: Could the Light HP/MP ability be given a tweak upwards? I upgraded it yesterday, and my max HP literally went up a grand total of 6 points. Da fuq?

Yeah, but light really needed a buff, it was shit compared to heavy before, now it's a lot more even (heavy will still go farther in deep grindfest though). I'd like to compare a full power slaughter with my full fleet/SD but I don't have good enough slaughter for a comparison. Also I expect monster damage to be eventually corrected somewhat and at that point I'm probably gonna have to go back to dual wield or mace (or find some good leather of protection).

Yes, I noticed the exact same thing. It's 4 attacks/sec for me too.
I'm quite sure the reason is because of some speed limit that was imposed with the patch.
The following goes for me playing HV at my CPU;

Before patch 0.76
In Chrome: maybe ~8 or ~12 attacks /sec (just a guess but it felt like at least 2 or 3 times faster than the 0.76 frequency)
In Firefox: maybe ~2 attacks /sec

After patch 0.76
In Chrome: 4 attacks /sec LIKE A FUCKING CLOCK
In Firefox: 4 attacks /sec LIKE A FUCKING CLOCK

This frequency nerf REALLY sucks. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
The only good thing about it is that I can now ditch chrome...

To alleviate the complaints about food and drops in general: Maybe you should think about making food/pills be in their own separate drop table, kind like the bonus crystals from grindfest.

This is also a partial bug list:

- The number of mastery points that can be acquired is kinda wonky; right now only donators of $500+ can unlock every slot. It's possible to lose out on either 2 Supportive Ability Slots or 1 Major Ability Slot (depending on the user's choice of distribution) otherwise.

- Drain's CD is a bit high and it only hits 1 target. Considering it's the only source of SP renewal for mages, this seems a bit weak.

- Soul Fire and Ripened Soul do poor damage.

- Spirit Theft should work like Ether Theft (a buff rather than a debuff) so that it's safe to kill the monster.

- Monster Edibles could use a slightly better ratio. I'd suggest the ratio at IWBTH of 35/35/30.

- Artifacts should give elixirs only as bonus rewards alongside normal ones (e.g. You receive 1 point in Dexterity! You receive 2 mana elixirs!) By themselves it feels like a rip-off.

- Give more than 1 Energy Drink per artifact since they've been nerfed.

- Increase the effect of rare materials like Crystallized Phazon to granting 5 "levels" of forging for the equipment on which they are used (as opposed to 1). They've dropped massively in value and usage because of the forge nerfs. Maybe increase the forge EXP gained fromt them as well.

- Absorb gives back way less than it takes to cast. I'd say buff that... but I'm more in favour of brinding back the finite duration (it procs more often than it used to, especially with the ability) so that it can be put back on IA.

- Concussive Strike procs Coalesced Mana and consumes Channeling, intended?

I'm also going to note that Drain is literally a weaker Regen that requires an enemy target to be alive to use it. Rather contradictory design, backed up with terrible numbers. If it was a one-hit-move-on kind of thing, this would solve the first part instantly; the numbers, well, that's for you to decide.

I've been lucky enough to have avoided getting Energy Drinks and Elixirs so far, but my luck might change at any time. Hopefully these suggestions go through.
